  • Join us for a seated tap dance lesson, and in the process get a gentle workout! This lesson features a gentle warmup and an easy, short routine. It is ideal for helping older adults maintain balance and coordination in a fun and different way. WARNING: Please be sure to consult a doctor before using this program or pursuing any form of exercise. CAREGIVERS: Do not use with an older adult unless you have consulted with that person's doctor regarding exercise regimes.
    GOALS: To maintain and improve balance and coordination
    To enhance well-being through dance
    To facilitate a sense of achievement at the end of the program
    To help maintain cardio fitness

    I have always wanted to tap dance. Now I can keep active and feel like a Fred Astaire doing it. Just need a Ginger Rogers to join me. :)
