- Grand Central bound M3A Local Train RFW from Crestwood to Grand Central
Taken August 27th
During the AM Rush Hour, some Harlem Line local trains terminate @ Crestwood, then head back down to Grand Central
I love metro north railroad trains when I grow up I'm going to be a train driver
Nice, you did the return trip too! RFW stands for Really Fantastic Window.
That certainly is a local service on the Harlem Line, because it made all stops between Crestwood, and Grand Central.
One of the best videos on this subject I've ever seen....and I've seem a lot...Kudos
[14:20] CP 112 Interlocking: MNRR's New Haven and Harlem Lines merge south into Woodlawn Station.
[32:31] CP 5 Interlocking @ Mott Haven Junction: MNRR's Hudson Line merges with the Harlem and New Haven Lines south towards 125th Street Station.
Nice vid
Please consider doing an RFW on the Hudson Line.
10-car M7A @ 37:49!!
The driver dont get mad at you for standing so close or for filming
Lucky you were able to get this shot without being harassed by the transit cops saying "iTs iLLeGaL, iTs a SaFeTy iSsUe" and all that bs.
The MTA has explicitly allowed photography, videography, providing you're not trespassing, or doing anything dangerous, since 2006 - didn't stop, over the years, misguided conductors and engineers from being a pain in the ass, but luckily those incidents in my experience were rare. Even had, in more recent years, a MTA cop (who was checking out something from a fearful person I'd guess) actually, explicitly say to me that (in regards to photographing trains) "that is your right."
I got a question i wanted to ride these trains for so long and i wanted to know if you can use your Metro card to pay with to enter so i can do that next time.
No you can't must buy a rail pass
@@trainenthusiast0903 Ah ok thx for letting me know i see them pass by behind my house everytime and i wonder how to get on them now i understand.
Yeah metro cards is only for buses and subway trains
