Which way are the arms supposed to be situated when the wipers are off? My wipers keep going all the way down and getting stuck, preventing them from going back up. My arms seem to be out of position but I can’t figure out what starting position they should be in. Looks like your arms are close together where the brackets are pointing left. (?)

Just replaced my motor today in my 2015 Ram. Any idea why the wiper is going half way up, full way down, halfway back up. I stripped a screw which took me 30 minutes to get it out so I forgot exactly how it had looked. Any idea why the wiper is on that rotation though? When I unscrew the arm and screw it back in with the wiper at start position so that it can go full way up and full way back down it seems to still be doing half way up full way down half way back up and stopping in the middle of my windshield. Of coarse when I start it where it should be starting it just bugs out and ends up under the hood cause its still trying to go full way down after only going halfway down. If you have any clue on how to fix this just let me know. I assume its because the arm that moves the wipers is not positioned correctly when I screwed the nut back on.

You are correct. Position is the problem.

Did exact same thing on my 2013. Replaced motor. Reassembled to original condition. Hear a click when turning on but still no movement.
    Any ideas.? Checked fuses

If you are hearing a click, that is also a good sign - it means that the relay is probably still functioning. What might be the problem is the wiring (corrosion). There should be a power distribution box under the hood with all the relays (it should be labelled but if not, check the manual for location. Pull the relay and check the wires in the box for corrosion. Then look at the wiring at the motor (mounted on the firewall). If there's no corrosion, then replace the relay (should be less than $15). if that doesn't do the trick, then the motor is likely bad. One way to check is if there is no resistance between the ground terminal (the one that connects to the black wire) and all of the other terminals on the motor.
Can you move the wipers by hand?

Thanks for response. Relays are in fuse box. None of relays are labeled though. All wiring seems sound without going crazy inspecting. Motor is new. Can not move wiper by hand . Is there a module that could in the mix? Coils assembly arms be in wrong position when I reassembled ?

The orientation could be off, yes. I would start with the relay replacement since it's the lowest time investment and low cost (you can always take it back to the parts store) and then I would return the motor for another. It's not unheard of to get a faulty motor fresh out of the box.
