Best on the market! reliability 2nd to none... i had a Toyota (1975 Celica that went for 410 k miles, sold it after that years ago) with no problems, with normal maintenance. Now I have a Rav 4 2021 , awesome! Stereo could be better! Toyota don't understand, American's love dynamic sounding systems!

Toyota knows, if you want better sound then either get top trim or go for Lexus vehicles

I actually find Toyota sound to be better than Honda, though

Why does anybody even bother giving you the 'starting price', when NEVER is that the actual price you pay, even for the very stripped down base version of every trim. Kind of the elephant in the room, but doesn't anybody feel even just a little bit insulted by this fact??

It depends on the dealer, honestly. This dealer has this RAV4 listed at MSRP. Then the non-hybrid RAV4's they have listed for around $1,200 off.

I’m in Europe and even I know that prices vary across the USA because different states have different tax rates for purchases. That along with dealership offers, etc, means that all reviewers can give is the RRP before taxes and other costs.

It completely depends on the dealership..I recently bought 2024 Rav4 Hybrid XLE for $2250 less than the MSRP from one of the dealers here in MA.

Your reviews are always good. The disappointing thing about the RAV is the interior is really underwhelming. Toyota can do better.

You only superficially mention the drivetrain. I am very concerned about the longevity of the CVT transmission. According to other mechanics they are good for about 100,000 miles - while todays cars typically can run 300,000 or more. Although I know Toyota uses a planetary gearing system, which may be more reliable that the variable pulley (is it?). Toyota drives the rear wheels with one of the electric motors which eliminates the driveshaft to the rear (you don't bother to mention this). That takes some of the load off the engine (and CVT), which helps - but how much? I know that Toyota now make a CVT with one traditional gear for starting out, which then transitions to the CVT as speed increases. This seems like a great idea to take even more load off the CVT. Does this car have that newer transmission? I myself don't know. I was hoping you would mention it.
Overall, an OK review, but the majority of it was about convenience features that aren't that important and can easily be found on Toyotas web page.

I have a 2023 BMW X3 and love it, but always have a sweet spot in my heart for the Rav 4. They’re just so darn boring and plain though.
