Comparing ALL 2024 RAV4 Hybrid Trims! How to Pick the Best One for You

- I compare all 2024 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Trim Levels so you can decide the best for you. Interiors, performance, mpg, pricing, styling differences, etc.
Toyota RAV4 is the best-selling small SUV in America - for several years in a row. What trim level of 2024 RAV4 Hybrid is the best one though? 2024 RAV4 Hybrid LE, 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XLE, 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XLE Premium, 2024 RAV4 Hybrid Woodland Edition, 2024 RAV4 Hybrid SE, 2024 RAV4 Hybrid XSE, or 2024 RAV4 Hybrid Limited?
This comparison is also useful for 2023 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and previous years as well.
Thanks for Liking this video and watching...and feel free to Subscribe if you enjoy my content.
Jeff
Where are you watching this from in the world? Also, what trim level is the best for you? How about the best value based on pricing? Jeff
I am watching from the place where the invasion of Michigan will begin.
lol I see
@@Toyotajeff Don't overdue it on Christmas wassailing , if you know what I mean. 😉
Arkansas
@@RyanDoonanHi Neighbor! I'm in Arkansas too.
These are the type of videos we come on TH-cam to look at, you showed and told us about every single detail 👏🏾 you even showed us the spec sheet.. a lot of reviewers DON'T show that. Thanks for the best review Jeff. 💯
I don't know what this man gets paid, but he needs a raise.
“One to two inches could make all the difference in the world…(pause)…”
Sensational 🤣 You speak the truth, my friend 🙌🏽
That sh*t was hilarious 😂
Really great overview of the RAV4 models. I like the car, but those "dealer options" look like $3-4k of dealer added BS on top of the car price ($73 for 4 USB cables? $450 for floor mats? paint protection, etc...). That crap is why people hate car dealers.
That is why you need to look around do not just go to your local dealership. I drove 45 minutes away to get a deal on mine. Even though I purchased Toyota's from local dealership in the past they refused MRSP so I walked out. I can still get free Toyota Care just don't have to buy from the locals if they will not negotiate! I don't care if I have to go out of state if I am going to save a few grand off the price I would have. Also don't take any extra warranty add-ons and do your own financing you can always get anywhere if you really need to have it.
They aren't dealer options. They are the Independent Distributor Port Install Options otherwise known as the Gulf States Cartel where I am located...
I just got my RAV4 Hybrid XSE in silver sky last week and it’s amazing! Thank you Toyotajeff your reviews helped me make the right decision and join the RAV4 club 😎
Welcome to the club!!
We got the XLE Premium in Wind Chill Pearl last week. Taking ownership of my hybrid in May. Thank you for these videos they really help and have a lot of sense of humor. We are watching from California.😃🤣🤩
How much did you buy ??
Just bought myself a White "Ice Cap" RAV4 XLE Hybrid for my Birthday last week. Getting around 41.8 mpg.. TOTAL Price OUT THE DOOR, Tax, Tags etc AND WITH the Weather Package AND The Extended 10 year 100,000 mile Warranty on the Hybrid was $35,029. Still have my 2014 RAV4 XLE with 281,000 miles on it and will be using that to commute back and forth to work till the wheels fall off! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The RAV4 XLE Hybrid!!!
What State and dealer?
Wow that’s awesome so happy for u. Inventory is limited in my area even though I’m willing to be cash, an XSE is marked up to 45k might have to settle for an XLE at 38k
My 4-month old hybrid xle is getting 46.5 mpg! I do drive in eco mode, don’t exceed the speed limit by more than 10 mph, and have a 46 mile round trip commute to work on mostly 50 mph roads. Yes, I’m a grandma, but I only get gas once a week & only have to buy half a tank! I’m loving everything about my RAV4.
Which state? That is a great price! how much Toyota”s 10 year, 100000 warranty goes for?
That’s a solid price !
I've watched a handful of your videos. You are so thorough which is an amazing quality and you have tons of energy so it holds attention! For future videos you should talk to your editor about adding timestamps with tags so people can slide to the parts of the videos that talk about their specific interests. For example I was only interested in the LE and thr XLE. Anways awsome video thanks!
I’m getting my XSE in two days so excited! Thanks for the very complete video!
Hey Jeff, you do a great job giving us the breakdown of the RAV 4 trims. You make it easy to see the differences without having going to the dealership. I appreciate you man Keep up the good work!
My family and I got into an accident yesterday and it has had me down. However, prior to the accident I knew I had my heart set on a Rav4 Hybrid. I was still pretty upset from the situation and not knowing what our future would look like but watching this video brought a big laugh out of me which I havent done since the accident. Thank you so much for the laughs and information. I feel more confident about the type of trim I want and you def. need a raise. Watching from NC!
Thank you! I put a deposit on a Hybrid XLE Premium! Was to decide between Limited and Premium… do not need the Ventilated seats, so went with the Hybrid XLE Premium! This will be #4 of the Ravs I’ve had! First hybrid though! Trading my 2018 Limited! New car Wind Chill Pearl XLE Premium is expected in May. Thank you for the reviews! I feel good on getting the XLE after watching your reviews. 😊. Greetings from RI!
How do you like it, so far? Looking at that same model.
We got the XSE with silver sky two tone three weeks ago. I’ve enjoyed a number of your videos. I’m watching from Minnesota.
Hi in Minnesota! I grew up in Michigan
🎉how is snow work? good on your car?!
SE Idaho.
Had a xle hybrid. Was awesome. Went to a 23 Highlander. Bit more space.
Good comparison video
I love your quirky sense of humor, Jeff! I’ll take that Limited in Pearl/ Nutmeg. Thanks for the comparison.
From Hungary... moving to the US. Great intro to each trim, and really helped me narrow my purchase to 2 choices!
I appreciate this guys humor lol but also honesty that he might be wrong about somethings. Very detailed review. 👌🏼
Thanks that’s a huge compliment
Watching from Melbourne Australia. Taking ownership of my RAV4 Hybrid next month !😊
Haha, you're so fun, I really enjoyed watching your videos. Thank u for the information
I am in Lacey Washington. About 15 minutes from the Capital & 25 minutes from Tacoma. FYI you are the only Toyota person who I can trust. And you also drive Toyota products.Thats a huge plus.
Hi that’s so cool of you! Yep we drive crown limited, Highlander hybrid platinum, Camry le, and Corolla LE
I seen your video on your Crown. My wife and I sat in one and wow it was very nice with alot of room .
@@markwillis1273 you just reminded me I need to film a lot more videos about my crown. There is so much more to share.
@@Toyotajeff You should and you have the XLE ?
Colorado here, excellent commentary, you rock! Love how you move to stand by rear tires when talking about back tire differences, you really keep my attention! XSE looks great. Love how the trunk platform turns over for a wipeable surface that is 2" lower, yes very important!!Love all your other features since I have a Prius Prime 2017 and love your new additional features. Would want a sunroof not moonroof, that comes all the way off and stows away.
Super good information you definitely help me with my decision of which model. For me XLE Premium thank you
Xse has my vote
Thank you for all the hard lifting. I appreciate the information. Cheers from Los Angeles.
I enjoy your content, Jeff. What's up from Aotearoa New Zealand
🖖🏾🇳🇿🤙🏾.
Hi from Auckland.
Hey Jeff, really enjoy your videos from here in Canada. Loving my 2023 XSE with tech, wind-chill pearl. PLANE!!!
Watching from Germany! I have a '21 Limited, the camera views are definitely worth the upgrade!
Thanks so much, this video helped a lot. A new sales man at Toyota learning my product! Thanks 🎉
That’s so funny because when I started my channel, I never realized that I could use my videos as a teaching tool for other sales people. A lot of people in sales follow my channel, which makes me feel great.
@@Toyotajeffif you can make more videos like this explaining the differences in the cars, it would be greatly appreciated 🙏🙏🙏
Viewing from BC, Canada. Waiting for the call on my ordered Limited edition
Central MA. Ordered a Limited in Ruby Flair with the nutmeg interior last week.
Doesn’t matter, the dealers don’t have any inventory
Stock is very limited right now
@@kathlo3228unfortunately this has been true for several years
That’s by design
I got lucky I got my on the same day.. if your personalize, that would take 2-3 months.. but if you check the in-transit inventory you can always make reservations.
@enriquejamesd.martin7117 I don't like the running boards ($650 too) but it's going to take a while for cars to come in so I might just go with the car with the running boards...
Appreciate the huge efforts taken to create this fantastic informative video Jeff!
You have really helped me to decide on the RAV4 hybrid limited. Having trouble finding the magnetic gray metallic with black softex interior but I'm on the hunt. Great reviews! Thanks.
I actually got a Black Metallic Woodland edition. Ordered in Feb got it by April 1 only add-ons I had to pay for was the wheel locks and side door protectors. Got at MSRP for $33,250 before Toyota increased the price. Total out the door price with Tax $38,084.00. I love this version because I did not want leather, but wanted Fog Lights and only the high level trims have Fog Lights and force you to get leather which over time cracks and is cold in the winter months and hot in the summer. Plus I really liked the Rims and the fact that is is a Hybrid without the extra cost of the higher trims that just add crap without any function no increase in Horse power unless the over 50k Prime model.
I bought a used 2022 RAV4 hybrid limited with 16 miles. I love how smooth and fuel efficient it is. Seattle
Love your videos you do great Toyota videos and very funny but make it where you give great information we have a 2010 Toyota Avalon limited so amazing
Hi Ryan, thanks so much. I’m glad you like the channel for a couple different reasons. That’s exactly what I hope for.
Hello from Canada. Entertaining and VERY informative video. You've helped immensely.
warching from Alberta Canada, I love the comparisons .. thanks a lot guys
A thumbs up purely for the Airplane! quote. Oh, and insanely good information too.
Can you do logging roads with the LE ?
I genuinely enjoyed this content. I’m doing research and considering a Toyota. Thanks for the thorough walk through. Keep up the great work! PLANE 😝. Stay Blessed
PLANE! Thanks :)
Since the Venza will be discontinued after 2024 I am saving for a RAV4 Hybrid, but I can't decide which to buy: a Limited or an XSE.
Video is very helpful. Thank you for creating this review.🎉
Watching from Alaska, yes, thank you - very helpful!
The digital cluster on the Limited is standard on Mazda CX5 Select. Base trim
I just asked one XLE Hybrid Canada and the dealer said they will give one in 2 years ! Is the Toyota still worth it ?
You are funny 😂. Thank you for the thorough and entertaining comparison video. Your information will definitely help me make my decision on which RAV4 to purchase. I appreciate your review style. 🙏
I’m from Iowa, but currently live in Florida.
Got me an XSE in June 2023….Love It….!!
Xle premim might be the perfect trim for the price with all the required features.
I think that one checks a lot of the boxes for a lot of folks
That's what I bought. If you want the Softex seats (I did, but not everyone does), it's a good value for what it comes with. Strange that it's the only trim that doesn't get its own badging on the rear (just says "XLE" just like the ... well ... XLE trim.) Mine are blacked out on a Midnight Black one anyway, but still weird that they did that.
XLE premiums are all different depending on what the dealers get or if you custom order add ons. Black lettering is techincally an add on, other stuff considered add onsare the roof rack/bars, rims, cameras, custom badges, etc. I was lucky to find a chestnut interior since all XLE premiums I have seen in socal have been black. Just depends on what you want. Also some have basic rims but that only saves you a few bucks tbh they're not that expensive.
@@jesos3182I think XLE with add-ons/packages (like weather package, convenience package etc) is different from XLE premium..premium would include all those features and also some extra features by default like softex seats, panorama roof, fog lights, power lift gate, 18inch wheels, memory seats, leather wrapped steering and many other features. Premium is worth the price.
Great video!!! This has helped me make my decision!! I love the XSE trim!!!
I went with the XLE Hybrid Premium this video was very helpful in seeing and not just reading the difference.
Thank you! Can you share if any of the models drive modes have the option to drive between fwd and awd?
The features that are important to me are heated seats, remote start, and adaptive cruise control. Are these features part of option packages and are those options only available on certain trims?
Calgary.Canada i love all trim levels and my eyes are on Woodland i hope to get one next year.
Hi, thanks for the video. Can you please tell me if the XSE is equipped with front and rear parking sensors to help with parking?
Thanks for your video. From Brisbane, Australia.
Just bought the limited in Ruby red! Excited for it to arrive
Got an SE white with sunroof. Love it so far!
Great comparison video 🚗🚙🚖🚘.
Good job Jeff 👍🏻 👍🏻 as always.
I will go with RAV4 Hybrid SE trim ❤✅
Thanks for the very informative video comparing all the models in their metal. I'm in Northern California and like the XLE with optional paint.
I purchased the xse in magnet grey and it's loaded. I have 12.3 all digital display, 10.5" JBL upgraded stereo, power lift gate with the kick open and close tech......front and rear parking assist and I absolutely love this car so far. The best part is I'm averaging 43.2mpg. 😃
Hello, I’m from Alaska. Thanks for going over each trim.
I'm watching your video from Mali in West Africa😊
awesome have a great day in Mali!!
Do any of them come with navigation?
Great review. Could someone talk about the "Front Sport Tuned Suspension" that SOME of these trims have? Thanks
I keep thinking about the RAV, but can’t seem to make it past the angled wheel arches. Any advice on how to learn to love these?
I’m trying to remember which one have the navigation not just the Apple CarPlay but navigation what I’m looking for is the navigation and the heated ventilated seats what would be the best trim for me
Hello Jeff, I am considering the XLE Premium FWD or the Limited FWD models. Is the Limited worth the extra money? What additional features does the Limited have? Does the standard XLE have the electric tailgate lift? Thanks.
Which one has the quietest ride? I had an LE and the road noise was unbeareable. Amazing mpg but yea, the noise was too much for me.
Watching from Anchorage Alaska! Thank you for these videos they really help!
Hello, I live in Florida and I have a question regarding the type of electrical charge. Are any of these rav4 non-plug-in hybrids? Or do they all have to be plugged into the outlet from time to time to charge?
Venezuela watching from Sunrise, FL.
How would you list them in order from the lowest to the highest trim?
Im planning on switching from 2021 Toyota Rav4 hybrid XLE to 2024 Toyota Prime Rav4 XSE plug in hybrid, can you make more videos about plug in hybrid models, so I could make final decision, interested in your thoughts 💭on these types of Rav4 vehicles, thank you for all your inputs in the world of Toyota 👍
Hey there, I'm catching your video from Callala Beach Australia 🇦🇺
The video I’ve been looking for! funny informative, and easy to watch. Thanks Jeff 🤣🤣🤣🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Watching from Dublin, Republic of Ireland 🇮🇪🤟
Watching from Puerto Rico, incredible video!
Hi thanks for the video. Which model has the moonroof?
Australia here and trims we have are...GX, GXL, XSE, Crusier and Edge
Hi Jeff! What do you think about the choice between a 2024 hybrid nx350h and a Rav4 Hybrid limited? Does Rav4 have more trunk space? (Watching from Montreal, Quebec!)
I want the 10.5 multimedia screen and the 12.3 gauge cluster and the JBL upgraded stereo with subwoofer... which trims offer these?
Xse and limited
I believe a difference that you may not have mentioned or I missed is that the XLE Premium and above come with Li-Ion batteries which should be cheaper to replace down the line.
I love this guy lol such a good video
Watching from South Korea
I love the woodland color. Is it a plugin?
From Lagos, Nigeria.. Nice video
watching from Riyadh, KSA!
I'm watching from Spring Valley New York
I'm watching this video from Mombasa Kenya, I just bought a Toyota Rav4 Limited 2024.
Yeah, mine is taking about three weeks in Sacramento. 2024 Rav4 LE AWD Hybrid Black and Black.😕💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
It’s been hard to get a new hybrid in my area, is it worth it buying an older year or just wait for the 2024
Cheers from the great white north, canada
the stare after the 1 - 2 inches comment 🤣
lol oh…did I do that bwaaaahahahaha thanks for watching!
Great video! Watching from San Diego Cali
Just bought a rav4 prime xse and love it, but i cant figure out the kick sensor for the trunk! I just keeping like a fool back there!
*2024
Can someone talk about interior noise level at highway speeds? Have they solved this problem?
Can you make a video with all the trims of the rav4 just the all gas models for 2024 Thanks
I got my gas version RAV4 Limited. It’s just sad cause I really wanted the Hybrid. But it’s too expensive for me lol. I’ll definitely trade this in on a hybrid after 3 years.
Congrats on your Limited!
You're better off.
I was lucky to catch incoming stock 2024 XSE Prime in silver with gloss black accents.
It’s almost identical to the one featured in this video except there is a plug in port on the driver’s side so it can be driven in EV mode when fully charged for around 40 miles, which is a bit more than the MPG for a gallon of gasoline.
It also it came from the factory with the following options (or standard?): a powered lift gate (but no bottom kick sensor), black leatherette Soft Tex heated steering wheel and interior and, the 10.5 screen JBL system, wireless charging tray and “weather package” with the heated seats and wheel, weatherized floor and cargo mats. The accent lights it came with looks cool but I would have preferred the more functional fog lamps.
I’m guessing the price point is the main reason dealers don’t keep an extensive inventory of the Prime model, but the option to top off the charge and run it in EV mode was too compelling for me.
