I battle with my self confidence at times but I truly do believe I can make what I want happen out of life!! Omg girl this video was so inspiring ❤ I am in a committed relationship which has had its drastic ups and downs for so long. I've been so focused on the relationship and building this connection with him that I haven't been pursuing my passion...which is also Music!!! Like girl, I am so happy I came across this video today because I was literally just thinking about how bad I want to write again, how much i miss expressing myseld in music, and about my dream of making it in music and having my songs heard before my time. I've been going through a block and haven't written a song in 3 yrs..during this time I was pursuing my music degree, ironically not playing music lol but now I just feel really called to write again and just pour these last 3 yrs out. I am an older woman and I appreciate sm to connect to your energy so empowering and liberator. I just realized that we women as a collective are going through a shift of liberation, the difference from my childhood or when I was a teenager and a young woman is so big, we used to have desperate women models, in the movies, the songs, the stories… I’m so happy that I can learn from you and that you are able to liberate yourself early than I or we did, women from other generations :)
I realised the same only after my 40’s after when for last 3 years the narcs man crossed my way. he was sent my way so I could learn my own value and empower myself, he tested me and I failed at all occassions until moment I realized my own value is the most important and I finally walked away. My only mistake was letting him walking on me and behave as a cool girl not to look desperate until I finally realised that behaving as a cool girl is the high level of desperation too, facing worse consequences then being a drama girl. Now I feel stronger and happier about myself than ever before.

First of all I love love this podcast energy and everything you said was spot on. I have been told that my whole life that “I was a black cat energy girl”, and I would respond as if it was both a compliment but a bad thing that made people avoid me or kinda distance themselves from me afraid of being hurt and they would feel I had some sort of selfishness and not feeling guilty to choose myself in situations. You know what I mean especially when I attracted people pleasers who I had to teach self love unconsciously all all the time. However, as my journey continues I feel more comfortable within myself and if it bothers people around me it is not my job to compromise and comfort insecure people. It is really funny how we as people cope with past failed relationships by calling ourselves dogs and cats... I understand the steps made here, but being a cat or a dog really is not a way to do things... It is really noticeable that most people pick the wrong people as their first ones, later on get dry and die inside... Your next partner will be a good person who will not feel loved because you want to act like a "black cat" with no emotional presence...
I do really relate with your story, this has happened to me with friends even, to lose myself and be treated like a doormat. But in reality it is not so good to go for extremes of people pleasing or being completely emotionally dry and non existent.
