This was kind of weird and arrogant Riley’s part…he just interrupts the whole interview and makes it about him.
modest in in his name though! D:
Looks like he was hired to play violin for someone. Maybe a romantic picnic or something. He thought maybe these two dudes were the patrons.
It's called fun
He indeed did not float on alright
Not very modest. I guess that’s why he’s their former violinist. 😂
😆
HEY
What do you mean? He was going to the park to meet someone who hired him to pkay violin, maybe for a date
🎻 ... unexpected fiddlin' interrupts philosophy ... 😃
This was so bizarre
Seems like he’s a fiddler for hire , and if I played fiddle on one of the most legendary albums of the 90s (‘the lonesome crowded west) still the best Modest Mouse record to this day, I’d be bragging about it too.
This interview does need some background music though.
I couldn’t find a single mention of him on Modest Mouse’s wikipedia, so it looks like he was hired as a one-off gig for a specific track or EP.
Tyler Reilly is credited as playing fiddle on the Lonesome Crowded West. "Jesus Christ Was an Only Child" has the most prominent fiddle part, I think. He also did some touring with them around 1997. Either way, kind of weird that he interrupts a random podcast filming in a park to let them know he used to play in Modest Mouse.
It's just two guys sitting Infront of a camera in public. People talk to each other it's normal not weird.
I was instantly suspicious, because that's a weird claim to fame. I did find this on wikipedia tho: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everywhere_and_His_Nasty_Parlour_Tricks
@@Beattie755 Lmaooo... "Oh shit this guy is coming over and trying to chat us up about like-minded interests he saw we may have. Don't make eye-contact. Let me do the talking. This is SO AwKwArD."
@@Beattie755 I've noticed that a lot of Gen Z (and some Millennials) have this mentality, where they almost think it's rude to talk to people in public.
Some say he traded his soul to the devil for that bicycle!
God damn! lmao what'd he do, fuck your ex?
I wanted to see a mouse playing the fiddle.
The fk was this interview about anyway
That was great.
He seems mentally unwell. t. Capt Obvious.
Lol, wtf.
I happen to be going to see Modest Mouse really soon.
