I’m 78 and could die at any moment I guess. As an old woman I would advise everyone to forget about death and focus on living an ethical life. Everyone dies but a lot of the human race does not live their life with ethics. Be happy with what you have & quit struggling for material wealth - It will not make you happy. What we need is to love one another and to treat one another with kindness - then we have community. Kindness will make you a miracle magnet.

This makes so much sense! If you look sick, you are. And too bad for me, I have lots of visceral fat from stress and eating sugar for many years. I'm slowly reducing it by a low carb diet, daily walks, cold baths in lakes and extended fasting. I'm using an InBody scale at my gym to determine the amount of visceral fat. You get points on a scale from 0-20 where 0 is no visceral fat and 20 is very high. This spring I scored 20. A few weeks later it had gone down to 18 after implementing this lowcarb fasting lifestyle. I have no idea how many lb (or kg's as we use in Sweden), but I'm really excited by the decrease.

When you breathe in through your nose, the body adds nitrous oxide to the oxygen entering the nasal cavity. That nitrous oxide then becomes transported through the lungs into the blood and gives you more energy.
Exercising the jaw muscles by eating foods that require your jaw to work, such as apples, carrots, and gristly meats, can help the transition fro mouth breathing to nose breathing.

How did i look 20 years ago, or even 8 years ago. I went down to that weight and it was a shock. It was probably too quick but maybe not. I needed it. All of my wifes family is OBEASE. It is a visual shift and they can't stand the skinny people any more. They used to make fun of the obese, now they are obese. I used to make fun of obease, it came around to me. So sorry to those that are stuck and don't know what to do. Or can't get the motivation. it is a mental fogger for sure.
So sorry for their loss. I didn't want to be lost on my family and did something about it. Thanks for being blunt, clear, concise. I went on my own journey of carnivory and fasting to have my autism diagnosis reversed! The proof is in the lifestyle. I particularly found this video EXTREMELY interesting. I request that you do a comparison and "prediction" video of top celebrities, and in the future, if these turn out to be true, that you are correct THIS would be so amazing and a FUN (and sad) GREAT indicator of externally being able to see health in others. For example, I find that Keanu Reeves seems to be in this category of nose inflammation. You look at his previous photos and his current day nose, it has mostly taken over his face, imo. Also, I noticed that for women, this may be slightly more difficult, and easier to see in men... Are there other factors to look for in women? Would love to have you on my channel in regards to autism health and improvements.

He had the dad bod, his nose definitively grew, he had very dark under eyes and yellow whites of his eyes, and also his voice changed; it went a few octaves lower and really croaky. He didn’t look well but we thought nothing of it (sadly). Literally three months later he suddenly died. It was really sad. (His friend at his funeral said he used to drink 2 liters (67 fl Oz) of sweet iced coffee milk almost every day - for years - which makes sense. He didn’t look after himself or even notice. You put pressure on them doing what you've always done, but now they can't shift into more comfortable positions, remaining pinched. No wonder you're at greater risk for heart attack with greater visceral fat. I've been fat since birth, but I have lost a bit recently, biking vigorously. Large noses and red noses are indicative of liver damage from excessive alcoholism. But the nose is not always a good sign, as I had a lot of visceral fat from being on the vegan diet and after 7 years, I lost muscle mass and bone density and developed autoimmune disorders, insulin resistance and Cushings Syndrome. My nose was actually more slender from loss of facial fat. I went from 30 to 37" waistline of fat. I abandoned vegan and went carnivore diet and returned to eating beef and eggs. 3 months later I dropped to a 32" waist and lost all my visceral fat! I'm now at 31" waistline! I'm 59.

I did lose about 40 pounds, but I never heard of people's feet shrinking when they lost a good amount of weight. I think it's inflammation reduction. Because inflammation I think causes a lot of water retention, i.e. swelling, and that can be everywhere. Also my rings are looser too.

Excellent insights and observations. Many of us instinctively yet unconsciously assess healthy vs unhealthy inflamed faces (and inflamed noses). We know just walking by people in the street who is sickly. So you are definitely on to something here. You could easily develop an algorithm to quantify these changes in the nose and face using a chronological series of photographs. As for dad bods, unfortunately, they don't belong just to dads anymore; have you seen the shocking physical state of a majority of the young, including teens, today? And Joe Rogan has probably done irreparable damage to his body over the years, because he probably abused harmful PEDs as a younger man. The damage to his cardiovascular system and metabolic health is extremely obvious now.
PS: I had plenty of blood panels taken during my 20s when I was vegetarian. I am nearing 50 now, and always on keto or carnivore. There is no comparison at all. I was always sickly, weak, and in horrible metabolic health in my twenties as a vegetarian. Now in my late 40s, I am in perfect physical and metabolic health, with significantly higher testosterone levels (605 pmol/L free test, with lab ref range being 200-600) since going keto/carnivore. I've always done heavy weights, but they did little for my health when my diet in my twenties was based on vegetables and high in deadly carbs. One has to get his diet right first; then, exercise and weights will add to that strong diet base and healthy foundation. Great channel. Thank you.

The damage to his health is evident but not caused by historic PED use. He was never a serious bodybuilder/juicer. More likely excess palmitic acid (meat, dairy) causing lipotoxicity, insulin resistance.

I LOVE A MAN WITH A DAD BOD & HELL YES, I'M STILL ATTRACTED TO HIM!
When a man you love gets a "dad bod" that doesn't change the way ya feel about em.
What an arrogant assy thing to say.

    Dr Sean
Great advice on sprinting and visceral fat and already I am seeing the difference.
However, as a 72 year old man who is 67 inches tall and 200 pound I do intermittent fast every day and use resistance trading to build muscle and eat a high protein diet - all to protect against sarcopenia.
My question is whether your recommendation for extended fasting is suitable for someone my age given its effect on muscle mass.
    Keep up your excellent videos.

You quickly (in the last few days) just became my favorite TH-cam doctor. You should be interviewed by Joe Rogan on his podcast. He's had many health experts on. Needless to say, I have no idea how to get that done. Hopefully someone can point you in the right direction.

Nose magnification up close is always present with smartphone cameras due to the field of view. You can't compare on old photo to one made with a smartphone up close.
