A social experiment is not really what she did. It’s more like observing a group of people acting in an abnormal manner, the people have no idea what is really happening all they are doing is living their everyday lives. I’m getting really to do such a study in Los Angeles, by studying people’s everyday lives without them knowing what is really happening. Most people living there have a mental illness including celebrities and don’t know it. It’s truly FASCINATING
Let me just point this out, you can argue with me as much as you like, Ashley didn't do this for fame or attention. She especially didn't mean to cause such a feud with her so called 'fans'. Ashley didn't even plan it out herself. Another collaborator messaged/called her and asked if she wanted to collab. Number 1, this wasn't a prank. In fact, it was actually a social experiment to see how people (especially celebrities) feel whilst being followed around EVERYWHERE they go! (even private places such as weddings or birthdays that they aren't there to celebrate themselves) In the video featuring Ashley, you could see how many fans of Taylor Swift were there and how hard it must've been for Ashley whilst she was trying to get out of the building. The body guards weren't Ashley's idea. Even when Ashley revealed to the fans that were crowded around her that it was an experiment, the fans didn't care. It was literally THE ASHLEY!!! Ashley didn't know that by doing a harmless experiment, she was going to get so much hate for doing something that could quite actually prove the paparazzi to be a horrible bunch of people (which can be true, SOMETIMES) The point of the video was to see how hard it is for celebrities to just walk out of a store. You don't even need to be a celebrity. You could just walk outside with short or long blonde hair wearing a red hat and shades and people could mistake you for Taylor Swift. Ashley was born looking a lot like Taylor Swift, she can't control that. Yes, you might want to say how she could get plastic surgery. (Which is really quite dumb because you could ruin yourself) But if YOU could have the choice to look like any famous celebrity would you choose to stay the same way you look now or would you choose to look like that celebrity?? I personally don’t think she did anything wrong, that Justin Bieber impersonator didn’t get any negative backlash when he did that photo shoot eating a burrito starting in the middle (other than a few people making jokes about it), it feels like people are treating her differently because she’s a woman.
