Thank you so much for watching and saying this - I've had quite a few people say they could immediately tell! But I guess I was so used to seeing myself every day that I couldn't accurately judge!
I recently got my colors done in person (not from the place you were talking about). I always thought I was an autumn because my hair color tends to be a brown with red tones in it and my eyes are green. I always liked autumn colors. However, as I got older and my hair started to get gray in it, I found those colors didn’t seem to look as good. When I went recently in person, they said I was a cool summer! I never would’ve thought had cool undertones. But like you were told, my undertone had nothing to do with my warmer hair and eye colors. Throughout the whole analysis, I definitely saw my skin color, looking better, more clear and even toned and soft cool colors. I always looked at the warmth being reflected from warm colors and thought that warmth was, good. However, when I saw the difference similar to what you were showing, I could definitely see how cool tones were better. I must say it’s been a real struggle for me too shift my mind around finding cool colors and cool neutrals.
@@t10mcg Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your experience! I can totally appreciate the surprise, it's really hard for us to see our undertone unless we do these tests and someone actually shows you where to look! I'm glad you've found yourself in a summer palette. The good thing is both autumn and summer are more moderate to soft in intensity, so I hope some of your old colours could work with maybe new jackets / scarves / tops to be worn under? In my next video I'll talk about how I switched my wardrobe over the past year, and the resistance I had towards some colours like grey! It's definitely a process - good luck!
Years ago I was analyzed by a friend who dabbled in this as an amateur. She concluded that my primary was winter and secondary spring. She was spot on. This has helped me tons when selecting items for my wardrobe

My hair is a bit lighter than yours and my eyes are grey with some yellow in, but looking at your analysis I’d lay odds I’d get the same result as you, just from how colours react on my skin. You explain it really well!
@@cathwalsh9921 thank you for watching! If you react similar to me, you'll also be a winter! Hope this video helped give you some ideas about the best colours - I'm loving discovering blue at the moment!
This was so interesting! It's so obvious that cool colors look better for you! I also got an online colour analysis from Colour Analysis Studio but it wasn't the deluxe one. But I'm feeling bit unsure about my palette now. I was typed as warm autumn and I don't think I was typed wrong, but even in my color palette I find it difficult to choose colors that really make me shine. Even with browns and beiges it needs to be a really specific tone in order to work for me.
Wow it's been so interesting to hear from a few different people that "it's obvious you're cool" .. trust me, for 3 years I could NOT see it! But I'm glad you see it, it just confirms it for me! I think for me, talking to Giulia did help me to see the differences between the cool / warm. I do think you're an autumn though - I just watched your GRWM video and saw your natural skin, and the bright white seemed a bit "off". But with makeup you can pull off white / black! Also autumn warm is the closest to medium intensity, so it makes sense that with makeup you can pull off these quite clear colours! I wonder - do you like to wear any reds? I understand having mountain / mushroom / fire roots, you're probably not into yellows and oranges too much. But I wonder if you had any warm brown jumpers or any quite bright reds? I think you'd look stunning in quite "bright for autumn" colours!
@@MiliVelikova I think it's always more difficult to look at yourself objectively. But also there's a lot of misconception about brown eyes and brown hair meaning you are an autumn. So no wonder it has been harder for you to see it. I have been sometimes wondering if I lean more true autumn than warm, because when I got my analysis done my hair was warmer and lighter. But I don't think it makes a huge difference. And either way my favorite color black is not in my color palette but I still keep wearing it lol. But it is obvious I am warm, because my worst colors are cool pink, blue and grey. Yes, I absolutely love a true red! But I'm really picky about the tone again. It needs to have a littel bit of depth. And I do love different tones of brown. I have tried to get into those typical autumn colors - olive greens, oranges and mustards. But they just feel too earthy for me.
@@KatariinasVanityI've been studying the warm palette on other people cause it requires the same depht and intensity of cool winter, but with a complete opposite undertone. You can watch Elise Buch for boho vintage style, Cynthia Dulude (who recorded her colour analysis in Canada) for pear-shaped silhouette and modern style, Hannah Louise Poston for classic style and patterns on a tall silhouette. They are warm autumns, and I think the french youtuber Griisette is a deep autumn that wears so beautifully many rust/peaches/warm reds and pinks that can give ideas of colour combos with your vivid warm colours. If I had a warm undertone, that would be the palette I'd like to be cause we don't often see people going that vivid within their outfit without being too bright either.

(Again monitors can distort colors) The cool, blue based colors really do look best & you can handle intensity (saturation) & deepness too. lucky you, black looks good on you. So many of us wish it was in our palettes since it's so easy to find & wear. Brown eyed & hazel eyed people with brown hair often have the hardest time determining their seasonal palette. It's not uncommon to be mis typed the first time. Not all color analysts are created equal unfortunately & some use different systems.

You look True Cool Winter to me from a quick glance at your photos. It's interesting how the computer generated report says your skin is light to medium peachy to beige, dark warm eyes. I think the opposite, you appear fair to light skin with a bright rosy undertone, and bright cool hazel brown eyes. The warm spring yellow makes you look jaundiced and the muted autumn sage makes you look grey. I wouldnt be surprised if the person never glanced at your photos once. Just clicked a few times to create a computer generated report with pantone equivalent numbers and emailed the result. It's called the ART of Personal Color Styling for a reason. It's not able to be captured by a few electronic clicks. But people with something to sell will try and convince you it's "science".

I’m also typed as a true/cool winter (in the 12 color system) and black isn’t my best color as well. Also some other colors from the color palette were a bit harsh on me. What really helped me was knowing about the 6 color system. Cool vs warm, light vs deep and bright vs soft. It adds an extra sub season to the winter: soft winter. I’m a cool deep soft girl and now it finally makes sense. Maybe it’s something for you to check out 😊
Thank you so much for watching and sharing that - I'll definitely explore it! I think from my understanding, cool winter is pretty much the 'softest' or least intense version of winter. Great job on your video!
I love Giulia and Alessandra! And I love that you got your color analysis with them. They did a great job determining your best colors! Yay! You do look great in those winter cool colors!
You did a great video for us to see. Thank you!
I too had them do my color analysis online. I felt so validated by my results and indeed it has made me feel and look better. Amazing!
My husband had his done locally and for a higher cost. It is a brand new studio so it did not exist a couple months ago. I went with him. The gal did a good job too but not as detailed and thorough as I received with Giulia and Alessandra! I like the way Color Analysis Studio does the analysis.
I sure enjoyed watching your video 🙂
Thank you so much for watching! I also love how they do the analysis, I think they're very detailed and especially having the call, it really helped me to fully understand and not have any doubts about whether it was correct or not, because I truly saw what they also saw in me. What's your colour season btw? Did you have doubts before?
Interesting to hear about the in-person one, there were some local consultants here, but similar price and definitely less detailed or experienced as Giulia and Alessandra! So I chose to trust them, no regrets!
@@MiliVelikova thanks for messaging.
I have struggled all my life with what colors to wear. In clothes and makeup and even with my hair. I am a Winter Deep. I was surprised but super happy! I do love wearing black. : )
Once I changed my hair color to a darkish ash brown that helped a lot. I did have highlights and so my hair has mostly had golden look to it. I love being able to embrace my color season! And I do see how much better I look with winter deep colors!
I am happy for you to have learned your color at a young age. Enjoy!
I look forward to viewing some of your other videos Mili! Have a wonderful day!
@@tomjones2157 thank you for sharing that, it's so interesting how quite a few people have said here in the comments that I seem obviously cool-toned, when I genuinely couldn't see it for the longest time! I totally agree, it's definitely an art and something that trained professionals can do way way better than a computer! I'm so glad I got myself professionally typed as it's helped me so much! Thank you for watching!
Yoooo mili I'm seeing this notification after so long haha, how are you doing?
I'm doing really well, thanks Himanshu! Decided to make videos that I would WANT to watch myself - and currently, I'm pretty obsessed with style, how it impacts our confidence, and becoming a smart shopper - so this is the new direction!
Winter
You're right!
I'm curious to learn more though, because I definitely think that for some colours to work super well, I need a tiny bit of makeup - while others work amazing 100% of the time!
Winter ☃️
Spot on!
Before watching, by just looking at you, I’ll say winter
You were spot on, well done!
So what is your palette? You say you got your result and don’t say it. True winter?
I would easily have guessed that your season is Cool Winter or Classic True Winter. No autumn in you besides having warmer eyes. We will look at skin's undertone and hair the most for your season.
Thank you so much for watching and sharing that - interestingly, I've had quite a few people say I'm obviously cool! But having seen myself every day, I think i couldn't see it as clearly!
