I follow Alyssa Beltempo, Audrey Coyne, Emily Wheatley, Christina Mychas, Signe Hanssen, Emily Elizabeth May, Hannah Louise Poston, Justine Lecomte, Daria Andronescu, Lauren McKinney (who is no longer making TH-cam videos but her older ones are still up and still great!). I've recently discovered Allana Davison, too. Also some people in the costuber and vintage scene who I love and who share some of the same views of fast fashion: Bernadette Banner, Evelyn Wood, Morgan Donner - and for the gentlemen: The Gentleman's Gazette and Vintagebursche
I LOVE how you’re celebrating other content creators while also explaining your own personal interpretations & other style thoughts here! Great work, Mili
Thank you so much! This was so fun for me to film, because these are some of the creators I've watched for years (sometimes 5+ years!) so I'm really grateful for everything I've learned from them! And I wanted to share my own lessons and thoughts, since I've been applying them into my own life and style! ❤️
I really appreciate that you're crediting other creators! We all learn from each other and we all improve together. Now I have some more channels to check out. Another great video! Thank you!
@@Star-Pilled thank you, and absolutely, I've learned so much from these ladies - it's only appropriate for me to give them credit, as I definitely wasn't born with the style gene 😂
Love this video, and finding some new people to look into thankyou 😊 I already follow about half but I also like getting your key message from each - also on my list is style refinement (previously styled by Jen) which has massively helped
@@lynsphildav7987 thank you for watching, and I'm glad this gave you some new people to check! I love Jen, and I'm sensing part 2 coming because there are more creators I've learned from, she's fantastic!
This is my first time really watching your videos, and I LOVE this one. There is so much content out there, and it's not always clear what lessons a particular channel can provide, so having a video that synthesizes everything is SUPER helpful! And now I'm watching your other videos where you do similar things.
Rita’s system is so unique! I love how she addresses the mindset and thought processes. And I love Ellie Jean too, she has such a positive approach and her style roots system is so clever Also I love Giulia and Alessandra’s approach to colour analysis!!! They explain things very clearly and I like how they don’t promote perfectionism, they often explain how to make use of the clothes we already have that aren’t in our season. I hadn’t heard of Ellena Hue but her channel sounds so interesting! Tysm for sharing your inspirations with us 😊
@@EmL-kg5gn I love Rita, I think she has a unique perspective (and... I think I'll do a session with her next year when there's an opening, and then do a video about it!) So glad I could introduce you to a new creator, let me know how you find her videos!
@@MiliVelikova I loved Ellena’s use of colour and how she explains it so clearly! But I don’t think her channel is for me, body positivity or neutrality is important to me and for my own wellbeing I can’t really compromise on it
I follow a lot of the same creators as you, Mili. Which is probably why YT recommended you to me 😊 Alyssa Beltempo is my absolute favourite creator. I have watched her from almost the very start of her channel. Of course, as creators grow their channel, it evolves and changes. I still really enjoy and appreciate her content. I love Signe, too. She is very consistent. I'm not a huge fan of Christina's style. Barrel jeans and oversized just doesn't appeal to me at all. However, her financial content is very interesting to me. Justine is an absolute mine of information. Allison is very knowledgeable also. I also really like Jenn from Style Refinement. She covers a lot of similar content to all those above. Thank you, Mili ❤
@@katem3961 you're welcome, and it does sound like we have very similar preferences for creators! I am similar with Christina's style, it doesn't work for my curves but I do enjoy the inspiration and can adapt certain tools she shares! I love Jenn, if I do a part 2 of this video - I will definitely include her!
I almost know them all haha. Love them, especially Colour Analysis Studio and Daria :) Thanks for the tip about the russian woman, she looks great and I will check her out!
I also watch most of these creators. Another one I've learned a lot from is Aly Art. She is so good at explaining why things work or don't work and has extensive library of Kibbe body type videos. This was a great video.
I enjoy all of these creators except I hadn’t come across the Russian creator - I’m headed to her channel now! Love these takeaways. I found a lot of these creators the same way you did, and stuck around for the same reasons. They’re so helpful!
@@mariekelley7557 ohh I'm so glad I've introduced you to Ellena - she is excellent and I hope you find some useful and interesting ideas on her channel as well! Thank you for watching!
My favourites are Kibbe and Ellie-Jean 🤩 And myself, since I have created a system: The 69 Piece System! The number is the amount of the pieces my style consists of, the number symbolizing circulation and the fact that every piece is and must be preloved and the combination of yin and yang that is strongly present in me and my style as a Kibbe Flamboyant Gamine with gamine, dramatic and oneiric essences 🌚 Pieces I have just for some utility’s sake and home leisure clothes are not counted in the system since they so not represent my actual style and so I do not put them into my digital wardrobe where I create outfit collages of my pieces. And If I have 69 pieces and want a new preloved piece, I must sell or donate a piece - and so it goes! At the moment I have just 51 pieces in my system 😅
Oh I love that you've created your own system! Makes a lot of sense and takes into account lots of different factors - that's excellent! Thank you for watching as always, I appreciate you!
Wow I am so happy that this video was recommended to me :) I am already subscribed to Signe, Alyssa, Christina and Justine, probably that's why. But, I am Russian, and I never heard of Hellena Hue 😮 will definitely check out her approach to colors! Where I live, it is now he darkest and dullest season, and people seem to give in wearing mostly grey and black. I kind of made it a point to bring in more bright colors and avoid black especially in winter :) I also picked up quite a few ideas from other channels you recommended and am going to dive deeper into their ideas as well ❤ thank you!
@@4eburawka18 ohhh that's so exciting, welcome to the channel! Ellena is amazing - her russian channel is a treasure trove, so many really amazing videos, I've been watching for the last 5 years! I totally get you, and I'm doing a video soon about dressing more feminine in the winter - it's hard when everyone is wearing black and grey around!
Yees! I too have realised I need an elasticised waist. My shoulders are wider than my hips and my waist is not tiny because of my body type.Elasticsted is the best for me🎉
Thank you for introducing us to all those helpful channels! I have two more tips, one is petite dressing which helped me so much with finding styling tips for my short body. Many tips for romantics just don't work for me out of the box, because I have to adjust them to make them fit my proportions. Then there is beepworld, which is a very young creator. And while her style is definetly not mine, I find her videos very helpful, because she is often analyzing the outfit formula and tries to recreate it from her wardrobe.
Oh these are both great ones! I haven't watched too much of the Petite dressing videos but I've seen a few, she's so helpful! And love beepworld, her style is very different from mine too, but she's very creative and I enjoy seeing her outfits!
