this was such a great example of a woman of color who isn't a cool undertone or winter (love the representation) as well as someone who is clearly warm but seems almost smack dab in the middle between autumn and spring in terms of intensity, which is how i am!
Look at this beautiful woman smile!! This is the power of colour. I love all the happy smiles in the room and joy of self discovery when one accentuates their existing natural beauty. There is nothing to be 'corrected' it's just more of what you are. I LOVE your channel! Thank you ladies 🙏💖
I feel giddy because this is the first colour analysis that I see myself in! I might be a little more obviously warm due to my amber eyes, but the dark hair and medium intensity feels spot on. Thanks for the diversity! She's also adorable.
It was nice to see a dark-skinned autumn - it's so easy to assume all dark-skinned women are cool-toned since most seem to be, but in this case she is so obviously warm.
OMG, it's actually the first analysis, when I could clearly see every feature! Even more, when you compared deep and warm I was like "hmm, I thought warm would be an obvious winner, but I'd prefer something in-between warm and deep subgroups". And then you said it yourself! I'm somewhat proud of myself :D
Can I just say that Nicole is adorable?❤ She looks beautiful in any color too, but that warm autumn palette really made her glow even more. It was easy to see in her case, even for a layman like me lol!
The way everything about her started glowing...her hair and eyes...her teeth... everything seemed to be in high definition when she was wearing those Autumn colors. Gorgeous. And that Autumn Warm palette!!! She looked like a marigold come to life.
When she came in in her bright blue top and already looked so beautiful, I thought she must be bright, but since I had learned so much from you already, I thought she is gonna be warm. My first guess was warm spring so not too far off but she looks so elegant in the more muted and also deeper autumn colors. I'm also autumn warm and you two gave us some wonderful representation! Also, Nicole is such a cool person, not talking colors here! So entertaining. As soon as you guys post a video I'm like "yep my relaxing evening is settled 🍿🤩". I'd watch these videos all day if I could. 😂
Maybe she should not wear a turtleneck in that colour. The top did not cover her up, some skin was visible (close to the face), that reduces the impact of the "less than ideal" colour.
I think she looks beautiful with both! The cool colours make her look more romantic and a little melancholic, like she's in love with a sailor out to sea. The warm makes her look like she's happier and has a plate full of strawberries in front of her.
Ma fav moment of those videos is when at first lots of colours look bad on ppl but as you norrow it down we get to the point when every colour look amazing and that's very satisfying to watch.
This is the first time I e seen bright autumn and seeing dark hair with Spring working! I felt like that wasn’t allowed from what I’ve reviewed. I’m so thankful for this episode!
She looked gorgeous in the autumn palette! And especially Autumn Warm when she was compared with Spring Warm. She was so enthusiastic with the outcome. I love your videos! You are a dynamic duo!!
So interesting! Guilia and Alessandra typed me as an Autumn Deep, and I seem to be very similar to the model in coloring. I steal a lot from Autumn Warm, but I do think overall the deep palette is best for me. I guess it goes to show only through draping (digital or in person) can you really tell the subtle nuances of a person’s dominant coloring!
I am a warm spring and I have the same effect. I look candlelit from within in any warm color and any cool color drains away my color and replaces it with blue-gray around my lips and nose area.
This will probably be the go-to video I show friends when I talk about how stunning the difference can be when a person is wearing their season. This beautiful lady just glows in those warm colors! Great video as always!
P.S. I'm glad she found out before the wedding. When I look at my wedding pictures now, I see a beautiful ivory dress that looked just awful on this True Winter. lol
i use the one with the black lady who was diagnosed as a winter bright. My family is black and they struggle with seeing noticing differences in white/fairer skinned folks, especially with undertone.
@@Das644 I love that one too. I have a friend who is always lamenting all the makeup tutorials with orange and bronzey makeup on every black lady they're making over. It drives her nuts that people don't seem to realize darker skin does not equal warm undertone.
Such a good point about wedding dresses at the end! I ended up buying a more golden-toned dress nearly 10 years before I had a color analysis determine I'm an autumn! I never would have been able to describe it at the time, but there was such a huge difference when I put on that warm-toned dress!!
Totally! I thought I had cool undertones most of my life but when I was choosing silk fabrics for my wedding gown I compared and chose the warm "vanilla" over the cool white, and I'm so glad I did.
This was so fun to watch! Your beautiful client was so vibrant and really into it, and I could relate 100 percent with the conversation about wedding gowns. I, too, was guided to lean slightly warmer in the white tones and I am so glad that I did!!
Loved the energy of this beautiful lady getting her analysis. I do feel it’s possible she’s a warm Spring so I’m glad you explored that palette too. I thought that bright blue top looked phenomenal on her. When WOC have dark hair and warm undertones, their brightness can be ignored to put them immediately in the Deep Autumn season. I was categorized as Deep Autumn by people and apps but the colors actually made me look tired bringing out the darkness under my eyes.
I loved seeing this analysis! Not only am I so so happy to have had my colors analyzed by you, I'm also so glad I chose to have the zoom call in as well. It's really helped me see how I am more towards the lower intensity side of winter cool and how exactly to identify my very best colors within my current wardrobe. I'm so appreciative of having no doubts now! Getting to see how clearly Nicole is more towards winter deep than her sister season is so informative! What a neat find. I'll always be cheering you two on!
Great session! Great model! Great video! So happy to see a woman of color in a warm season and to see the very interesting and unique chromatic features she has. Those autumn colors just shined on her. I would love to see an after with her head to toe in palette.
This is so interesting because on first glance on camera she looks quite cool toned especially since she came in with a very blue top but the salmon vs pink test does it again! It’s lovely to see someone so excited to find her colours.
"I LOVE TOAST!!" hahahaha this girl. What a radiant spirit. I absolutely LOVE your videos. When I saw this I immediately clicked on it. Thanks for sharing!
This is very insightful. When I started reading books about colour analysis decades ago, I often read that people of colour or Asians are mainly winter types. It's really interesting to see that they can be every Type.
"It's like a magic wand gets waved" Love this! That's how we wish and hope to feel when we find our best colours. And it's interesting how with Nicola if you put her in cool colours, it's like she gets cut off somehow, like the colour stops and she starts. When the warm colours are on her, it 'flows' as she said!
Beautiful! This is really helpful to see another ethnicity with the same underlying colour palette, to see how the shades on the surface dont really matter as much as the general seasonal pattern.. its lovely to see this! Any ethnicity and any season can mix and match to make all the perfect shades we are ❤
I love this so much!! So amazing to see a warm autumn who most would assume is deep but because her undertone is so warm, warm autumn is so clearly the winner! My partner is the exact same, I thought he was deep but his warm undertone is so Evident. We are both warm autumns with different service colouring so cool!
Love Nicole! I want to be friends with her. Also the way she pulls off orange! Magnificent! A warm palette for a warm person 🎉 I also really appreciate how you guys get into the nuances of where people fit palette-wise.
What a beautiful model, inside and out! And a great example of a super-warm undertone. I definitely thought she was a Spring after the undertone test but the final Warm Autumn palette did indeed look the most harmonious - you ladies always do an amazing job.
I’ve been following since the beginning! Would love to see you do a crash course on definitions of terms you often use since there is sometimes some overlap I think it would really help me dial in my understanding of color analysis. Like a breakdown on how to understand concepts of intensity and value. I think I’ve heard you say things like intensity varies by having differing amounts of gray in the colors, and value how much black is in the colors. And I’m guessing undertone is variations of levels of blue or yellow… anyway would love this further deep dive. Thanks! I watch every episode!
I initially thought spring for her with the autumn vs spring frames, but after you decided autumn, I'm thinking true autumn maybe? Bc they can still draw some brightness from true spring? If I'm understanding this right EDIT: I got close - I'm better at remembering the 12 types than your system, but I think 12-type true autumn is closest to your warm autumn, comparatively. That being said, I prefer your system since it has more nuance. I like how in the first part checking undertones, you also use different lightness. I'm starting to pick up on depending which cool/warm comparison looks most obvious, that already points at a dominantly warm/cool or light/dark season. Those different levels or light/dark are really useful when temperature isn't a strong trait I'm learning so much from watching you use colour analysis in practice! Thank you for sharing these videos.
Loved to see another woman of colour, great video! I am not the biggest fan of the frames though, I find it mush easier to see the effect of the colours with the drapes 😊
I’m a cool summer and I wish I could wear this tomato red like she can. It looks stunning on her. I also love my palette, but this bright colors looking so stunning on her ❤
Thank you for the clarification at the end. I’m winter cool but started second guessing myself because summer cool doesn’t look that good, as winter deep does. I thought I got it wrong and may be winter deep, but autumn deep is just horrendous. Now I realize I am in fact winter cool borderline with winter deep 🙌🏻
This was amazing! Your client had great energy and was really fun to watch. Thank you for clarifying for me something that I have observed in my own coloring and I too am autumn warm/true autumn. Blessings to all!
This was so fun to watch. I liked her in the spring colors too even though they were too intense so it makes sense she is true autumn. Gorgeous! True autumn’s or any true season is so lucky to be able to wear the entire season well. ❤
A good video for seeing a clear difference in the appearance of the face. I think it is easier to discern the change when the person doing the analysis is wearing light neutrals 😊
Dear Alessandra and Giulia, thank you for this video. I have a question, why didn't you choose True Autumn, if neither borderline season was good enough, even spring warm was not convincingly better, especially not better than autumn soft or autumn deep? Thank you!
I’m so excited!!! Another woman of color analysis! I can’t wait to see this. Okay starting the video now. Edit #1: 3:02 I don’t see the differences 😭😭. I feel like she looks amazing in all those colors. I think for me I’ll know once I see her in her colors. It’s so hard to color analyze dark skin. That’s why I’ve been having such a hard figuring out my season. Edit #2: 4:16 okay I really see the color draining her with this summer drape! Okay! Edit #3: 14:57 look no further guys. This is her subgroup! I knew I would see it when she was wearing her colors. Edit #4: 16:08 Okay hold on…these colors are really nice on her too!…I may have spoken too soon 😂 Edit #5: Wow what interesting results! This has convinced me. I just need to get my color analysis done. The skill you ladies have is amazing.
Amazing video and an amazing client. I loved her wedding dress story and how much she got out of the session. You girls are getting better and better in your videos, your descriptions and content. So congratulations!!!
Great Analysis . I was loving the Autumn Deep and the Autumn Warm on her , I do think with her, she looks good borrowing from within her own season. Most of the time I can see how some colors of a bordering season can work , not so much with Spring warm that was too bright , it was only when I saw Winter Deep that I realized , OH NOOO, she has to be Autumn Warm , because Deep was not her dominate feature even if the Spring was too bright it has the warmth.
I love these videos! Your explanations are clear and helpful. I really enjoyed this particular video because Nichole’s enjoyment is contagious. Bellissima questa consulenza! Grazie! Mi è servito tantissimo per capire anche il mio sottogruppo. Sono sempre stata indecisa tra autunno profondo e autunno caldo!
I’m a little confused with why she isn’t a true Autumn. It seemed like you guys liked the Autumn deep and Autumn soft colors more than the Spring warm colors. Can someone be a true season while still having a subgroup that works a bit better? 😊
Her smile is so beautiful and I love her energy! I hope she’s very happy with her colours. Thank you all for this video, it was really helpful to understand the system better!
Love this, so professional again! Also love, love your new website. Decided to do the online colour analysis as soon as over my cold and got my hair done! You pair are the best!
I've NEVER seen anyone look good in the salmon/peach drape (the one that gets compared vs baby pink in the "undertone" section at 2:12). I've watched all the videos and this is the first where I'm like "oh ok I understand that color." It's obvious that Spring Warm is her neighbor season! But she could also definitely steal colors from Autumn Deep, the eggplant/cabernet in particular was stunning.
This client probably looks most like me in skintone, deep eyes and natural hair colour so this was particularly interesting for me.. I'm having my colours done next month! Cannot wait...
Yeeyy🎉 I'm excited to see the new video. I was shopping today and I found a really rare blue which is neutral warm but not too intense. It is perfect for an autumn like me. It isn't teal blue, it is more like sky blue but not that light, like in the spring light palette. I never looked so good in blue or felt that confidence. I learned it all because of you. Thank you.😊❤
Gorgeous! Thank you Nicole! I loved this as it showed you can really stay within the pallette and shine. 💗💗💗 Truly a beautiful season for you. Radiant. 🎉🎉🎉
Bautiful colours on her! I really enojy these videos. Would it be possible to include more online analysis videos? Im personally interested to see more of that, as Australia is nowhere near where I live. 😅 So it would be great to see how the process works online too. (I know you have the one video though.)
I’m such a fan girl of these videos! Wonderful model! She’s so engaged and fun.
this was such a great example of a woman of color who isn't a cool undertone or winter (love the representation) as well as someone who is clearly warm but seems almost smack dab in the middle between autumn and spring in terms of intensity, which is how i am!
Her energy is amazing. Love seeing a woman of color getting her analysis. Thanks for sharing :)
So do I. It is particularly interesting because it is easy to assume POC are automatically warm.

Loved her enthusiasm! She was so cute when she said "tomato for the win!" 😀
It's lovely to see a woman look in the mirror and say WOW again and again - so uplifting to watch!
Nicole is so charismatic and fun, my favorite of all the customers I've seen you analyze so far. And she's a knockout in that eggplant purple!
OMG, it's actually the first analysis, when I could clearly see every feature! Even more, when you compared deep and warm I was like "hmm, I thought warm would be an obvious winner, but I'd prefer something in-between warm and deep subgroups". And then you said it yourself! This Client makes me smile :) what a nice Person.

I've watched all the videos and this is the first where I'm like "oh ok I understand that color." It's obvious that Spring Warm is her neighbor season!
Thank you.😊❤
I'm so addicted to these.

Could you do an analysis with a strawberry-blonde who has an ivory skin tone and green eyes? Asking for a friend. 😄

Would it be possible to include more online analysis videos? Im personally interested to see more of that, as Australia is nowhere near where I live. 😅 So it would be great to see how the process works online too. (I know you have the one video though.)
