Not trying to talk smack about your mechanical abilities, but doesn't the engine go in the front?! Dude that's such a huge accomplishment congratulations! Thank you for the update! Hope you get the bugs sorted out soon so you can really enjoy all your work.
Happy to see a new YT video instead of just insta :) P.S. not sure if you heard the news about Deus... they opened a new location near us on PCH in newport and are opening a 2nd location in LA with resturant (like the Deus Lodge in UK). Still down for a coffee if you ever are lmk.
Man I’m so happy that you got it started- I was a bit concerned when your friend wasn’t standing guard at the engine bay when you cranked it over (the last thing you want is a fuel leak to ruin your day!) . The great thing about these cars is, it’s probably a simple fix.
I have a 1989 Yamaha FZR1000, 1967 Pontiac Catalina, 2002 Subaru Impeza WRX, 2009 Subaru Forester and AAA RV. 100 miles of towing has come in handy a number of times.
Great vid, great journey. Nice to a see this old PCar moving on its own. I enjoy this channel because of the shared experience of bringing back a couple of my own… both of which continue to deliver smiles, tears, cussing and memories only possible with years of tremendous spousal support
Man, I love this car, stoked that you at least got it running even though she quit on you, I have no doubt it's something small. I can't wait for the next vid!
Kiiiiiinda stoked for you man...? A step closer anyway. Hopefully, nothing major and you will be back on the road again soon. 🙏ing to the classic car gods for ya!
i loved my 912 back in the 70s but always fearful it would break down and bankrupt me like it did the previous owner but it never had a problem just rust in front pan to suspension but back then only 400 to fix
These cars need folks like you to bring them back. The engine starting up must have almost been as got as having a kid. Congrats.
They won't restore themselves! It was a great moment, no doubt
I love the “ Smiling “ that was cool. Beautiful ride. Happy for you and the car. Match made in heaven.

Old cars have their ups and downs. Nice car mate! Thnx
Well done for getting it over the line fella.
Thanks Russell!
I like the factory rebuild! You had the option for power adders, but the improved stock aspect is what makes this car amazing! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
So sick!!
Car's running, got content, and a cliff hanger...doesn't get any better than that! I'm happy for you.
Thank you Rich! It was a fun adventure..although that night sucked haha

Thank you! Spousal support is key! Appreciate the support man
Nice! SWB 912’s are cool. Probably a small issue like a ground that came loose. Next step paint correction on the single stage paint?
I'll drive it for a while and enjoy it while deciding if I'll mess with the paint. I may never mess with it.
