Well, this was much harder than I thought it would be. The train room is an absolute mess and thus requires a lot of luck, so I had to improvise a lot. The entire level is buggy: doors don't open, glory kills on imps don't count, barons don't spawn when they should have, demons teleport themselves, imps commit suicide by suffocating in the walls and so on. That's one of the reasons why this level imo can't be completed like Kadingir Sanctum or Titan's Realm, also because of mostly random demon spawns and lots of fodder.

Holy shit, I remember subscribing to you because of the "aggressive doom eternal music to rip/tear to". I didn't know you had ascended this hard in DOOM 2016. Good shit, man.

You are one of those Doom players that I feel like doesn’t even need a health bar, your speed and agility in the train room was amazing to watch, I know it has been said before but you are a true slayer.
Thanks. To be honest, I could have played much better in the train room if I wasn't so nervous about getting cornered, so I had to constantly gauss-jump myself away from the enemies (especially noticeable towards the end of the video). I believe I was on the brink of dying, one shot from a mancubus or a baron was guaranteed to finish me off.
This game will never get old for me, im sure my 60 year old self still rips and tears.

Yes, doom eternal is also extremly great with the art syle and atmospheres but doom 2016 feels a bit more DOOM
I like to think I’m pretty good at Doom, but this… this is clean.
Check out my Necropolis run, this one is garbage compared to it.
I know you don't do video requests, but I think you would LOVE the Brawler Mode ruleset for DOOM 2016.
Aside from that, another fantastic video as always.
I think brawler mode fits better for streams, not videos. I might give it a try some day

Awesome video as always but i wonder why you didint use the vega core soundtrack in fighting sequences. Just curious.
It's too chaotic, and not very aggressive, imo. Like "Mars Core" track from Eternal, it's cool but has the same problem

@@themacintoshnerd I actially try to sync music with gameplay as much as possible. In my Kadingir Sanctum vid I even tried to sync bfg division with my shots

God 2016's stun bomb is so fun. God the weapon swapping is so much more fun than Eternal. Because it's way faster.
God there's less annoying gimmicks than Eternal.
God I miss a lot of these weapon sounds, this atmosphere, and art style.

I really don't see the point of making weapon swap slower in Eternal. I mean, weapon swapping is what devs want you to do, so why not make it as fast as it was in D16? Still remains a mystery to me. Agree on other points too.
@@fatmetro I think it's because of battle mode, but idk why they don't make campaign properties different from Battle Mode.
@@fatmetro Are you holo and mod swapping? If so, then it makes sense for weapon swaps to be slower in Eternal. Unlike in 2016, you don't have any animations to cancel out that result in weapon swaps being only a few frames long.
@@chaosblitz7921 In the end, you still end up "cancelling" the animations of the lock-on and mod-swap in Eternal. You also use pb+any weapon combos which kinda make the swap faster, so I still don't see why the fuck not make the weapon swap as fast as pb combos for all weapons. People still end up spamming three weapons for the entirety of the game, which is something eternal fanboys got really mad over back in the days when the game first released.

Both. I prefer to switch between them, even though I think D2016 is better in many aspects.
@@fatmetro same, I love the chaos of doom eternal, and it has by all means made me better at the shooter genre, but there is something irreplaceable about D2016
