More NYC content should be coming in the near future, but I’ve got some Baltimore and Newport News content I want to post soon as well! And hey, we can always go back to ride them in the future!
Indeed! I’m glad that NYC has done an excellent job of preserving these cars! They look great! If you’re ever in Brooklyn, definitely check out the NY Transit Museum. Their exhibits and collection of rolling stock are phenomenal!
Me too! Unfortunately, many of the cities that had rail transit no longer have the infrastructure to support any historic/heritage operations. As amazing as a real, working trolley museum in Richmond or Hampton would be, the track just isn’t there anymore. I do love the National Capital Trolley Museum (which is very much an example of putting tracks where there weren’t tracks before, so it can totally be done-it’s not that hard!)!! So, yes, I 100% agree with you on this, and I’d love if some cities in Virginia would take it upon themselves to preserve some of their transit history (I do have to at least acknowledge the fact that Hampton is restoring car 390. It appears to be nowhere close to in working order, but it’ll be nice to see it on display, even if it never runs again).
looks like you had fun! Glad you got to experience this :)
I did! It was an amazing experience! Your video from last January was definitely a huge factor in me wanting to ride this train, so thank you!
More NYC Transit! (If only because I was there...) Wish I could have stayed to ride these trains!

Running those almost century, old trains next to the new ones is pretty cool!
It is! It’s kinda crazy how old the New York subway is compared to what we have in DC!
I am obsessed with 29 Down the Line's calm, soothing voice and demeanor
I’m glad you like it! I feel like it’s somehow different from how I normally talk!
That’s a lot of dedication to preserve these trains. And to run them on the active subway lines is even awesome.

I would LOVE if every city had a museum like this
