Aloha from Hawaii 🌋🌋🏝️! Honestly I don't listen to crime channels usually, but you seem so calm and your humanistic approach is a perfect foil for these subjects. Ah,life seems full of woes for ladies in the old days.
Thanks for this most interesting case, I recall hearing about it many years ago and there was a photograph of the face of Mary Pearcey from the waxwork. The DNA from the Jack the Ripper cases is intriguing, never heard of this until now and hopefully may lead to a new angle on the case!
TH-cam suggested this vid to me and I'm glad I clicked on it! Your style is very charming! Also your voice is really pleasant to listen to! Can't wait to watch more of your conent!
I've been to Ivor Street where Mary lived (renamed Ivor St after the murder). Her house still stands. On the corner is a pub called the Eagle where she used to drink. Years later a murder victim called Emily Dimmock used to drink in the Eagle where she would meet her punters (The Camden Town murder 1912). Many years later Amy Winehouse lived nearby and one night took refuge in the Eagle from the paps. The landlady let Amy go out the back of the pub so she could get to her home without being spotted. A lot of history in this pub!
Personally I think a woman was involved in at least one murder, that of Mary Kelly and possibly one more. If that would be Pearcey I don't know. Pearcey lived about 1 hour and 45 minutes walking distance away from Whitechapel. But she certainly had the strength and capacity to be as violent.
She would have rented a part of the house and her lover would have kept her for his convenience x it is also likely she took in washing or did some cleaning services. Thank you for your question and for watching my content x
You are a good narrator that holds an audience with fine research details.

How did she afford the place she lived in? She lived alone?
