Very nice car, but I'd rather have the Civic Touring for a lot less money, and performance might be a tad bit slower, but along with the Civic price difference more than makes up for it with much better fuel economy. 21/34 on the accord vs. 31/42 on the Civic..... You'll average about 10mpg more with the Civic, which is a really huge cost savings over the life of the car.
The Civic may be a bit cheaper and more fuel efficient, but it also has a smaller fuel tank. If you are going to use it primarily around town, then you probably will get better range out of the Civic, but if you do more highway driving, like myself, then the larger fuel tank facilitates a little bit longer time between fill ups. Just research and choose what fits your needs. Personally I like the way the Accord Coupe looks over the Civic Coupe. It looks a bit more refined, in my opinion. Either way I am sure they are both great vehicles.
I have a 16 civic touring and the cvt is very jerky which makes it not a very good driving car. and the interior rattles buzzes and creeks. im so dissapointed with my civic that im looking into a 17 accord touring. i can only hope the accord coupe isn't plagued by a rattley interior.

2016/2017 last two 6 cylinder coupes honda will be making.
The civic has a design flaw in the 1.5l turbo engine, the gasoline can blow by the piston rings and dilute the oil, some engines have it worse than others and it's a crapshoot what you get. Was going to get one but I popped the oil cap and could get a pretty strong gasoline smell even thought the dealer changed it extremely recently
