  • Follow along step by step as we install an Evo Mfg. Enforcer Overland plus kit on the Jeep Gladiator! No hydraulic lift, no air tools; just a floor jack, jack stands and basic home garage tools making for one great weekend of wrenching on the Jeep. #jeepgladiator #jeepliftinstall #4x4campingcorps

    super easy install. just did the wife's gladiator, 3 hours for the front with no help lol that was a pain in the ass. other than that super easy. doing the rear this weekend.

      Hopefully the rear axle was just as easy if not easier!

      @@4x4campingcorps super easy. Our kit came with the brake lines so that was the hardest part bleeding the brakes then doing the abs bleed with JScan took about 8 hours total from start to finish by myself lol

    Nice! Are these tires 35s?

    I'm thinking about running the 2.5 element kit on my Mojave. It uses trhe plushride springs. I don't want to get rid of the Fox internal bypass 2.5 shocks. I'm guessing you bought the Enforcer kit. How harsh is the ride? One thing we love about the Mojave is the ride on fast desert trails.Thanks for showing it can be done on jackstands!

      I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the Evo lift! You are correct; I got the Enforcer Overland kit but as far as ride quality, there was no noticeable difference until I added the Falcon shocks. As a matter of fact, with the OEM Fox shocks, it was almost too soft for me!
      I’m sure the Element kit will not disappoint. 👍🏼

    nice video! I'm doing the same kit soon. Hows the ride?

      The ride is great! It did have one little flaw in it though and if you check out the latest unboxing video we did, you’ll see the one thing that can take this lift kit to a whole new level!

    What is the current tire size? I’m looking at this lift on my sport with 33s, but eventually 35s…

      Hey Jody, tire sizes on Gladiators are kind of a funny thing. I was running the metric version of a 35” tire before this lift and had zero issues. Unfortunately, those things looked lost in the wheel well after the lift. I now have a true 37” and there has never been a moment I’ve felt like they’re oversized. 🤷‍♂️

    I’m thinking about getting the same lift kit but I’m putting the Fox 2.0 reservoir shocks! Have you had any problems with the evo and fox?

    • @4x4campingcorps

      The OEM Fox shocks that came with the Rubicon never quite felt right and the extensions felt like a great temporary option. I love the 2.0s and still run them on my JK but in this video I explain my next mod for the Gladiator.

    Looking to do the same 2.5”kit with bilstien shocks. But keeping the factory AT tires. Anything you would do different?

    • @4x4campingcorps
      @4x4campingcorps  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Before putting the Fox 2.0's on my JK I ran Bilstien 5100's for years. Great shocks.
      I also know tires will easily break the bank these days but the stock tire size might not be bearable for long. Those fenders seem to beg for more rubber to fill them! Other than that though I can't think of anything...
      Enjoy the lift though, I'm still really happy with it after getting some good runs in up in Big Bear and at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon!

    Just wondering why you decided to install new brake lines?

    • @4x4campingcorps
      @4x4campingcorps  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Evo Mfg. provides the extended brake lines with the kit and since there’s an additional 2.5 inches of height, I felt it was better to be safe than sorry.

      @@4x4campingcorps Thanks for the reply, Strange though I just purchased the Evo Enforcer 2.5 Stage 1 lift for a JL Wrangler and the brake lines weren't included.

    Was the height gain really 2.5"? I've read on the forums its closer to 4" of lift.

    • @4x4campingcorps
      @4x4campingcorps  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I read the same thing but I think mine was closer to 3” or 3 1/2”.

    • @blueskiesflyer
      @blueskiesflyer ปีที่แล้ว

      @@4x4campingcorps Gotcha! Well since i got the Sport S ill get closer to 4-4 1/2" since the lift kits are developed around Rubi. Did the lift kit sag over time or still keeps the same height?

    • @koloradokid
      @koloradokid ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blueskiesflyer Oh, you’ll absolutely get some extra height with the lighter trim! If there was any settling in the lift it wasn’t enough to notice. It’s still a great kit in my opinion.
