Rob, I'm amazed that you still feel the need to justify your role in the partnership after such a long time.
Chris obviously values you & vice versa as does I have no doubt the majority of the subscribers.

Rob is a repair coordinator. His job is to keep Chris busy and make sure there is no downtime. If he gets three videos out a week, then he’s doing a great job! He even does work on the cars himself, which also keeps him busy… and all that on top of all that waffle!

It's a great partnership you both have in your business and all the running around chasing part's picking up car's has to be done plus all the time you spend putting out 3 videos a week for us is appreciated. Can't imagine not having SRUK to keep us entertained.

As well as a hire car all the prices are based on new parts, never salvaged parts. Then there is labour costs which ( and I am not knocking living wage) are usually a very large portion of the bill.

What makes a team work great is having an understanding of what each persons role is. And what they do best which is why you two are great together!, chris over time has got more comfortable on camera and hearing his knowledge is admirable. Great pair of lads and cut no corners, work is spot on and honest about everything. Wouldn’t think twice about purchasing a car off you both! All I ask for is to do a m135i or m140i ;) haha

Great video and project guys. You should be able to blow this one out the door in short order. By the way Rob, I think the vast majority who watch your channel understand the logistics behind the scenes in what you do. You and Chris compliment one another and I'm sure Chris would much rather be physically working on something than having to deal with researching and ordering parts, running around all over the country and for the most part, doing the narrative on the videos. You both work very hard to accomplish what you do and please know that anyone with good sense understands that. I am personally very grateful for your channel and content. I think it's extremely entertaining and it warms my heart to watch you gentlemen repair and rebuild things the way they are supposed to be repaired and rebuilt.

I can see I am not the only one thinking Chris looks very comfy in that car. Nice upgrade on his current one maybe ;) Oh - and on the "Rob doesn't do anything" nonsense - Do some folk think parts magically just appear? I reckon Rob must be doing stupid miles and stupid hours on the computer finding cars and parts. A team should always play to its strengths like you lads do.

You don’t need to explain yourself mate, you and Chris work incredibly hard! You’re the brains of the operation, gathering the parts and cars. Chris is the hands, doing the more intense stuff. One couldn’t work without the other. We’ve all tried buying stuff online for cars and have dealt with the absolute nightmare that can sometimes come with it! This is a really smart car, and an easy fix aswell! Can’t wait to see the finished product

It's nuts that car was written of for relatively minor damage, yet our second car an 07 Beetle Turbo was hit in the rear needing a new bumper, etc and much to my disappointment, they didn't write it off and repaired it!
Looking at Chris reaction think he will be having that one.
I'm half way through the video ,and I reckon you should sell the convertible Mercedes that Chris is using and repair that one for Chris to use as it is more practical for him lol just a thought ???

As for your contributions Rob, I pointed to this on previous posts, you have built a business model on TH-cam that must be the envy of every other salvage repairer, you have done that by being yourself and it resonates with all your subscribers, your honesty, your enthusiasm and attention to the details that are important to your customers. Absolutely Chris is the knowledge when it comes to the repairs, he is a very skilled man with years of experience most of us can only dream of, a master of his trade who we love to watch making good the purchases you provide, but like every trade we all play to our strengths and yours is the human side, it’s a huge skill in its own right and to me you have it in spades, it’s obvious when people buy cars from their insurance company for you guys knocking out the middleman, and that’s the second one recently! Hats off to both of you, an envious business model perfectly balanced between the two of you that works fantastically well and provides thousands of us with knowledge, encouragement & enjoyment. Rob, I really would start to ignore the comments about work share, and peoples inappropriate comments regarding things like your appearance, dress and standard of living etc. You shouldn’t have to justify yourself to these people it has the square root of nothing to do with them, your clearly both grafting for a living and both happy or you wouldn’t be doing it, and rightly so you should be able to enjoy the finer things in life if you’ve earned it. Just keep on with car waffle and stop apologising and and feeling you have to justify it to people who have nothing better to do, and who are probably just jealous.
