Very good as always. Although it didn't need it to be done I would liked to have seen you calbrate the steering angle sensor after being disturbed during the removal/replacement

I’ve done this but even though I removed the battery. I’m now getting a check ESC warning. Have I done something wrong … could the steering angle sensor need calibrating?
Most likely will need calibration...

Hi, did you buy the clock spring from a main dealer? How did you find the part number? Thanks.
No... if I recall correctly, I got it from eBay...
Part number should be stamped in the old Part...
That said, jut check compatibility, and you should be fine...

Can this be done with a 2005 2.5dci135 Renault Trafic. The clock spring only have to connectors coming out of it.
I have renault master 2013 and have Check ESP light....i think it coild be the steering wheel angle sensor....(i recently had to take steering wheel column off to do some work under dash). Any tips how to recalibrate it or solve issue? If, indeed that is what is causing it..thanks
Not sure on that one, if it needs the scan tool to calibrate... but if you can't do it by turning the wheels from lock to lock, and/or driving it in a straight line, then I guess it will need the scan tool... or, you have an issue with the steering angle sensor...

@@LMAutoRepairsyes scanned it..but as the esp warning doesnt come on until i drive, scanner doesnt recognise fault.. Tomorrow i will try the lock to lock and drive it locally and see what i can do...thanks for responding...👍
