We went and saw the show back in October and we thought it's great. I'll definitely go see it again when I'm back in Vegas. I do hope they'll make movies for this screen, the immersion is incredible.
hows the handicap access? did they have any for the seats since everything is up and narrow? ... This is not the first sphere in Vegas, this is the 2nd one but, this one is more dated of course and with better technology.
It's an awesome place, we were there last month for the U2 show. The audio and visuals are over the top. Looking forward to coming back for the postcard from earth show.
I went to the sphere over Christmas and it’s so beautiful and techy but it’s not worth it at anything over $150. Cool to experience once but wait until your favorite singer or performer does a show there to get your moneys worth. Definitely 50/50 for me. Great vi Chris.
I went and saw the movie in November. It is a cool experience and so modern! My favorite part was the animals (elephant) looking around and seemed to look right at the audience. Everything felt like you were right there! Great video Chris!
When will customers cease to quote advertised prices of "$49.99,$299.95, $995.25 etc? The prices are actually $50, $300 & $1000 respectively PLUS considerable TAX. Checking their website two $89.00 tix will cost $208.00 after tax. It's better to round the amounts up & stop being deceived by sellers. Common sense money tip.
I mean, kinda really splitting hairs there on that penny. The 9/10 of a penny for a gallon of gas seems really antiquated to me… but if a business owner changes their price from $100.00 to $99.99 and sees an uptick in sales they are never not going to use that pricing strategy. It’s not deception, it’s economics.
I agree there’s a lot of miles that need to be filled third-party fees service fees processing fees couldn’t get through my discount code. It’s all just a big shell game. Go back to straight box office.
I bought tickets ahead of time for 12/26/23 and got Section 304 Row 9 for $50/person. Totally worth it, I don’t think you need to pay more. There were also a lot of empty seats around (which you probably could move to right as the show starts?) Our seats were good, I would’ve been satisfied sitting further back. Loved the show though, it felt so real. Definitely not friendly toward everyone though, like super elderly folk or young kids (since it can be very loud and shocking at times). Parking was so expensive at $47.50, but we saw ppl parking on the street for free (just a bit of a cold, cold walk during a winter night). Also confusing when leaving the lot as there were no signs (parking attendants weren’t helpful)
Hi Chris. Thank you for sharing your experiences at the Las Vegas Sphere. The show looks amazing, but I bet the experience was much better in person. Neat how they have the robots to interact with customers. Really cool idea. Hopefully they will have shows that are more of a happier theme. You got a great deal for $50. A job well done. Take care.
We are visiting Vegas in June Chris, would you recommend to book the Sphere in advance? We want to check it out but not pay huge prices for tickets and noticed that currently a lot of the more affordable ones go quickly.
If you can get the Taxi or Uber to drop you off the Sphere itself it's close... if you're coming in the front door of the Venetian or Palazzo it's really far
I have $50 tickets to see that in May with my teen son. This review makes me excited that we're going. Our seats are in section 204, which are probably just below the section you were in.
One of the major issues for cheap seats is you dont have a haptic seat with vibration. Also you have a visual reference point of the tiers as a baseline so the feeling of movement is substantially removed. Peemium seats feel like you are inside a helicopter. For those with vertigo premium seats could be a concern but you can always choose to see the floor or outer edge. NO cameras except a phone are allowed! Their online info suggests basic cameras arecallowed. They are not and must be checked
Hmm... I bought a "cheap" seat and my seat had the haptic feedback. Thanks for the tip on the cameras... you're right.. the website does make it seem like they are OK
Reminds me of a domed IMAX theater in Hong Kong years ago. The coolest part was the seats reclined so you felt like you were flying over what you’re seeing. Not sure this is worth it for me. Thank you for sharing 😊👍
Looks great, but I'm disappointed that they only let people in 1 hour prior to the show and that doesn't give enough time to see/experience the tech exhibits in the lobby. And then of course, you mention that they hustle people out of the venue right after the show so they can bring the next group in.
I'd like to experience The Sphere Experience, but the least expensive ticket is now $120. I'm just not sure I'm going to fork over that much for a 50 minute movie. We'll see.
I was there last night. I enjoyed the experience, but was not a fan of the depressing story line. I went in thinking it would be an IMAX documentary format, but instead was treated to a guilt trip. If they would do a real documentary, say the original IMAX Serengeti with a respectable narrator like James Earl Jones, it would have been unstoppable.
Yeah, my honest observation after seeing the show was that it was a glorified IMAX movie is something sort of generally unprofessional about the whole experience of tickets and entry and finally I will quote Steve. He already made the mistake. He said at the Mirage when they opened, they built the attraction so that people could see it from the outside and not have to pay and when he did the interior attraction at the wind, you had to come into the casino to see it. The best thing about the sphere is the exterior And it’s free the best thing about the venue of seeing an event. There are absolutely boggling. It’s dangerous stairs are so deep. Can’t really cut loose like you would normal concert because you have people falling all over the place. It’s I guess the word is not quite right for concertsagain the entire show is the exterior fantastic LED graphics
Just got back from "Postcard from Earth" at the sphere. Wasnt worth the money. Outside is better than the storyline inside. Not one time did I say, "wow" while watching this show. Plus they had part of the screen out right in the middle of the screen. A black rectangular area in the middle and it was distracting. But even if it wasnt there, wouldnt have made the storyline any better. Been to IMAX multiple times and their 3D and regular films have moments of 'wow this is cool." This had none. Heard a few comments around me after the show was done that were negative also.

I want to go this friday, but $100 for the highest seats seems a bit much. Is it a 50 minute movie or 15 minutes?
50 minute movie
So @yellowproductions how would you compare this to the planetarian in dc / Smithsonian
This is way better 😀
We are visiting Vegas in June Chris, would you recommend to book the Sphere in advance? We want to check it out but not pay huge prices for tickets and noticed that currently a lot of the more affordable ones go quickly.
Yeah... If you're locked in for your dates, I'd buy the tickets while you can still get the cheap seats... that's what I did
Good video. Do you know if there is a long walk to get there from where the taxi or uber drops you off? I have leg issues.
If you can get the Taxi or Uber to drop you off the Sphere itself it's close... if you're coming in the front door of the Venetian or Palazzo it's really far
I use to love going to the IMAX Dome in Richmond,Virginia. 70 ft screen is the largest in the state. I bet this one is way more awesome.
I haven't been to the Imax in Richmond. But I bet this one is indeed more awesome 😀

So walk to the sphere and have a break at CVS before 🤡

Same.. ticketmaster. I booked about 3 months out.. so basically when it just opened
did they let you bring in the pocket 3?
No.. this was shot on my Samsung Galaxy S23... no cameras.. but phones are OK
Which website selling tickets cheaper? And service charge is 33$ not 20$ as you say
Ticket prices have definitely gone up since I made this video
Would you say its worth the 150-200 dollars for the ticket?
It was definitely worth $50.. it was maybe worth $100. $200 is really steep for a 50 minute movie.
@ How did you get it or so Cheap?
@gykg3202 I saw the show when it first opened. And bought the tickets before it opened

Chris were going to VEGAS in June. Is it worth it to take 3 kids? Ages 13, 9, and 5? Would they be interested or should we keep it adults only?

@@YellowProductions lol I meant is it worth it to take 3 kids to the sphere specifically.

Yup!
"they just want you to, get the..... out"
I def. have to check the Sphere out when I finally get to Vegas.
Thanks for sharing! However Is it worth $250 though?
Probably not worth $250
They need to bring in a sick ass DJ and play some super psychedelic visuals to trip balls to
How did you get a $50 rate? The least expensive is $110 each now, and it appears they only sell 20% of the seats...
They keep raising the price.. it was $49 when I made this video. Sadly it seems they think people are willing to pay much more now
How much did you pay for your tickets? Anything in the 300 section for example is at least $200.
I paid $49.. but lowest ticket prices now are $99
Cool inside!! Kinda make you dizzy though.
Where to you get your tickets? In April 2024 the tickets are $100+ even book a month a head
Looks like they've raised the price
