I remember watching this on HSP when it was first aired. It can be analyzed to death but Daniel had a full house, against quads. Bad things are going to happen, and I'm not sure if anyone could avoid it. I mean, ... it's just something that happens in poker sometimes.

Thanks @Daniel Negreanu for the awesome break down. I am a little confused when you say "miss representing your hand is stupid". Is that the case in general? Or just against the competent opponents like Gus? Wouldn't miss representing your hand will allow your opponent to make mistakes? Is there any theoretical aspect/concept that I am missing ?

Yeah, I am not sure if I buy he would "never" raise with kings or aces on that river. Sounds like he is still a little sour that he lost that hand and he is trying to make GUS look bad and thus, in turn, making his actions not look as bad. Maybe I could buy he would seldom raise there but to say never? Yeah, I am not buying it and I am sure most of you are not either.
