It's important to realize that Daniel didn't Tilt. Tilting is when you allow your emotions to affect your game. He did his best to not allow his emotions to actually screw up his game play. He made what he considered his best plays and the random chance in the game will make you a loser even when you play well. I think he would make those same plays again. His anger came out in a way that wasn't destructive and that allowed him to continue later without left over resentment or bad habits. Keep grinding :)
This is why i dont play much poker anymore. Even an amazing player like daniel can get foocked hard like that. I rather put effort and energy to learn a trade that doesnt randomly screws you with varience.
@@abacaxisalgado4968 Poker would be incredibly boring if there wasn't variance. Nobody would play it. There wouldn't be any crazy hands, insane runouts, or any of that. If you play long enough variance will balance out.

If the table is aggressive, be the tightest player there...With a minimal buy in... If the table is extremely tight, be the most aggressive player there..With a deep stack... Tight players are afraid of deep stacks... And the best possible scenario is to have aggressive players to the right of you.. And tight players to the left of you... That's a game you can't leave until the game breaks up..
My favorite thing about this is knowing that I'm not the only that cusses at the computer/player and looses it when I have the percentage twice and still loose. Thank you posting this series and letting others see you raw.

I think what's super important is the way Daniel reacts more realistically here then what you see on TV. We are all people and all feel the same emotions whether we have millions or not to throw at this game. Keep playing well as you do and good thing will eventually come.

Loved the entire series, great format, it was engaging and you demonstrated the concepts pretty well while playing the live game. It was sad to see bad beats in the end, but love the fact that you shared all real poker emotions here!
The bad beats in the end are what I always consider the cascading problems of being a short stack and getting shorter. All it takes sadly is playing one or two somewhat marginal hands to put you in a bad spot, and then you end up having to play un-made hands hoping to win a race or two to stay in. At that point, you may as well be playing the slot machines, same chances really.
Having watched all 5 videos so far it seems clear to me that you do a really goo job in not getting overly invested in your hand, which in the long term seems to ensure you make a lot less bad decisions as the hand progresses. And you make NLH look so easy. But I know that's not the case. Thanks for sharing your insights into the game with us.

I always struggle reading poker theory in books but hearing it explained just made so much sense. Very unfortunate with the K10 vs J10 but as you say playing the right way is paramount. I used to get angry with myself when I'd blow-up after playing so well for so long & say to myself "Play better!" I was a fairly serious poker player until the last couple of years (mostly online) than became a little disillusioned with the game and have recently been focused more on video poker. (Sounds crazy but I try to implement "perfect" strategy and actually do pretty well at it) This video actually makes me want to get back into playing poker again as I not only understood what you were doing, I was predicting most of your actions except for a couple of those thin river bets where I probably would have check-called. Thanks for the efforts dnegs. Great stuff!
Besides Dnegs being more comfortable in a few tricky loose spots (which can be avoided by sticking to tighter pre flop play ala Hellmuth), tournament poker isn’t that complex and is mostly a game of mental stamina to always remain on your A-game. That’s what separates winning from losing regs. Main variables once we understand pre/post flop play remain: BRM, table selection if playing cash game, tilt resistance. Barely has anything to do with the cards we’re dealt

stupid call some guy goes all in you call with King HIGh modern pooker theory just play poker slots and hope for the best. EAsy fold there be the pusher not the caller. Pushing J10 is right calling with K10 is wrong and the outcome proves this. !!!!

The best strategy to use in trading cryptocurrency is to trade with a professional who understands the market quite well, That way maximum profit is guaranteed
Feeling and processing emotion, like anger, is normal. Bottling up causes the problems. I applaud Daniel's ability to feel the emotions in the moment so he can let it pass. Some players (no names... but...) allow that anger to eat at them and they become prone to outbursts from even perceived slights later.
I didn't like your book that I read a few years back, but Man this series was awesome all 5 parts. Definitely would have paid for this webinar. Thanks again for sharing.
I was hooked after the first episode just so cool to get to see into the mind of 1 of the best if not the best poker players of all time. The reads were exactly understanding blockers/bluffs and playing balanced really couldn’t play better just so happens the cards didn’t land this time. Thanks so much for the insight on how to play the game at the highest level 2 thumbs up.

I miss it. Have never been any good. I have read alot of books but I can't seem to learn much just by doing. But hearing your analysis has been OUTSTANDING! That was a masterclass. It just goes to show how much luck is still needed in this game.
Which is exactly why I play cash games, where blinds stay the same and luck is much, much less of a factor.

funny enough, some of my worst bad beats have been with KK, or pocket pairs in general.
stupid call some guy goes all in you call with King HIGh modern pooker theory just play poker slots and hope for the best. EAsy fold there be the pusher not the caller. Pushing J10 is right calling with K10 is wrong and the outcome proves this. !!!!

Both investments are good to go into but if profits must be considered then cryptocurrency is far better

Feeling and processing emotion, like anger, is normal. Bottling up causes the problems. I applaud Daniel's ability to feel the emotions in the moment so he can let it pass. Some players (no names... but...) allow that anger to eat at them and they become prone to outbursts from even perceived slights later.
I didn't like your book that I read a few years back, but Man this series was awesome all 5 parts. Definitely would have paid for this webinar. Thanks again for sharing.

I was hooked after the first episode just so cool to get to see into the mind of 1 of the best if not the best poker players of all time. The reads were exactly understanding blockers/bluffs and playing balanced really couldn’t play better just so happens the cards didn’t land this time. Thanks so much for the insight on how to play the game at the highest level 2 thumbs up.
Daniel, thanks for putting this together. I know it's difficult. If you can manage more, I love it. Been watching and playing since the 2003 bubble. But I don't play much anymore since UIGEA. I miss it. Have never been any good. I have read alot of books but I can't seem to learn much just by doing. But hearing your analysis has been OUTSTANDING! I learned several key fundamentals just by watching this single series.👏👍
