    Great video as always. The video length is never an issue with me when the content is top notch. I am going to add our return address on the envelope and when I fold it I will fold it towards the back so the address is on the front. Also something I do with paper and gluing is to put the folded/glued side on parchment paper and put a book on top. Do something else and in a minute or so it's good.

    Cover the area of honeycomb outside the card stock with more paper and the partial pressure created by your exhaust fan will hold the card stock down.

    • @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy
      @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Magnets are much easier Sam.

    • @SamKGrove
      @SamKGrove ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If your honeycomb is attractive to magnets.

    • @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy
      @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I addressed that in the video Sam.

    • @SamKGrove
      @SamKGrove ปีที่แล้ว

      Unfortunately for me, my honeycomb is indifferent to magnets. I did make some clips from paper clips and they work well enough.
      I did not miss you placing magnets to hold the card stock down.

    Thanks for the video! My question is how did you get that color from the green card stock without it being blackened by the laser?

    • @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy
      @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy  ปีที่แล้ว

      Like I said in the video, experiment with power and speed to get different colors. This one was done at a very low power and very high speed, so all it did was remove the die from the paper.

    • @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy
      @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy  หลายเดือนก่อน

      No Kay, the trial is the full version. It's a tab that appears on the right side of the screen. If you click, Window --> Library, and there is a *check mark* next to it, but you still can't see it, you're likely using a laptop with a screen resolution of less than 1920x1080.

    • @SuperKaycampbell
      @SuperKaycampbell หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy will check my resolution.

    • @SuperKaycampbell
      @SuperKaycampbell หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @TheLouisianaHobbyGuy that's what my resolution is, 1920x1080.
      I am not seeing it under the window tab, I see Art Library and Material library but not Library.😫

    At 32 mins, you show us and say "cutting the perforation square" (rectangle). Lightbulb moment!
    So rather than build that rectangle with four separate lines, and node editing the rest of the envelope, weld the envelope front, back, and flaps first. Now create the green rectangle at the four inside corners, then increase green rectangle ht/wt dimensions.
