    I’m ashamed that I followed ANY of the Mormon church’s bullshit I got sucked into at the age of 15…..I don’t care about the money they manipulated out of me….I just want my TIME and ENERGY as a believing and sacrificing woman back….😩 I could have made such a difference for the TRUE cause of equality for all back then. My ONLY consolation is that I mothered 5 fantastic children who fight that good fight NOW for their kids and my grandkids. “The Patriarchy” DIES with my generation….👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻💖💖💖Long live EQUALITY….for EVERYONE!!!

      I found the truth just 2 years ago. I too am resentful of my time and energy. Also, I have 4 great adult children but their dad chose to leave me. We had been married for 23 years. I’m now 67 and we have made a friendship to maintain our family ties. I wish I’d been told by him about all of the deception - for 7 generations.
      LOTS OF THERAPY from a terrific woman.❤

    Most active members simply deny that anything other than current theology or culture ever existed. The church has taken dramatic turns from one prophet to another without addressing the changes directly. What is church policy/doctrine from God's direction under one prophet simply becomes a former prophet's opinion once a new one is selected. Makes you think there is no set doctrine beyond baptizing second and third graders.

    Agreed. For some reason, one of my parents think that the Q15 were too busy to ask god if they should stop excluding other races question before 1978. 🤦‍♂️
    I think they would feel different if they were African American and excluded from being missionaries, which is how they met. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    No man is perfect. I mean look at your self. The profits are still people. Times were different back then. There is only one perfect man. The profits try their best. Look at the message they have been giving us for years to get food storage and to be prepared for hard times. The profit helped me prepare for Covid. I believe that god had a plan. I believe that there is a living profit on the earth today who is called by god. I have a testimony of the profit. I have seen the lords hand in my life.

    There is so much falsity to Mormonism, all you have to know is they believe in a false Jesus, a false God, this should wake every Mormon up, be true to the real God of the bible!

    • @kaylaly7811
      @kaylaly7811 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mormons don't know the difference between the God they worship and Christian God- they believe they worship the same Christian God as all the other Christians. So when you tell them they're worshipping the "wrong" God, they just think you're "anti-mormon" and being mean to them by persecuting their beliefs.
      I know only because I use to be mormon (I'm now ex-mormon).
      I didn't come to understand what you are saying until I left the church and the blinders were pulled from my eyes.

    Wonderful that you, with finite understanding say that God with infinite understanding has to make it where you understand his decisions. I am not saying that you are stupid by any means. I am just saying that when any human can hold a atom together with two neutrons at their core opposing each other, then they have the power to argue with the God of creation.

    • @AbstractStew
      @AbstractStew ปีที่แล้ว

      This is not about questioning any god. It is about questioning the human beings who claim to speak for the gods. That is not even close to the same thing. Self appointed prophets should be ignored.
      Also, there is no god of creation. The gods do not create anything. They are creations of humanity and, thus, cannot be older than their creators.

    • @johnwolfram2689
      @johnwolfram2689 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AbstractStew then why does it upset you when people talk about Jesus? Does it cause you mental anguish when people believe that aliens started the process of humanity? Or is it just when people tell you that God loved you enough that he would send his son to die in your place, and by his atoning blood, you can be forgiven? Is that what upsets you?

    • @AbstractStew
      @AbstractStew ปีที่แล้ว

      @@johnwolfram2689 I reread what I wrote, looking for the part where I said I am upset. I did not find it. I merely clarified he difference between gods and the humans who claim they speak for them.
      I have no problem with Christianity. Some of the best people I have ever met have been Christian, and faith was a big part of who they were.
      Anyway, my real point still stands.

    Jesus wasn't even real, how could he come to America?

  • @iconacy
    @iconacy ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Well if there is no prophets today then there were no prophets yesterday or anciently! Therefore there is no truth on this earth and there never has been. If this is true then there is no point to religion at all, if there is no point to religion then there is no accountability to a God, if there is no accountability to a God then why be a good person? This idea is flawed in every aspect. If there is a God he calls prophets and seers period you may not like what they have to say but people also hated Jesus for words that he said that sinful people found offensive.

    • @delhargis2219
      @delhargis2219 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Your thinking is flawed and is alignment with the majority of humans though history. There has always had to be a true religion for humans and they have believed lots of crazy things in the attempt to invent that truth. Including believing that god is a racist that chose one people above all others. There is a reason for existence, it just escapes your current level of inherited misunderstanding.

    • @NeilMartin98
      @NeilMartin98 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@delhargis2219 So you believe we come from Adam and Eve and we inbred for centuries without having massive problems? Moses turned a staff into a snake and that Noah could fit 17 million (2 of each) animals on his arc with 8.7 million animal species being present today?
      The reason for us existing also escapes your current understanding as there is neither proof for both just theory. You've got the bible as your proof while scientists use theoretical physics to understand the universe, make planes and rockets fly instead of praying.

    • @ejwest

    • @the-salamander4truth
      @the-salamander4truth ปีที่แล้ว

      You started off right, you’re so close. You really don’t believe there is a point to life without a god? Your god has only been in existence for a few thousand years. There were other gods before yours, that were around much longer than yours. What about all the civilizations that even exist today without your god. Do you think they find their lives pointless? My friend, you need to get out more. Maybe take a few classes on world history and religion. Travel. Here’s a secret, it is actually safe to visit other cultures and countries. I’m not accountable to an invisible sky daddy, and I have a wonderful life. Free yourself from your self bondage. It will be the best thing you ever did. Much love!
