These were/are great little toys JD! They were also sold on Amazon under a lot of re-brand labels but I haven't seen them for a while. As you say, the best thing about them (for use out in the sticks away from prying/crying eyes!) is that they have none of the modern restrictions on them. We used to fly ours out to way over the available display distance on the remote. From timings, they seemed to have a stock range of at least 1200-1300metres before loss of control signal RTH. Also the standard XT30 battery connector allowed normal batteries to be strapped under them. The motors/ESCs off of a crashed Bugs2 have been reused in a twin motor 840mm foam chuck glider conversion that our Old Mate runs on 3s. Goes a treat! Same for a dismantled Bugs3 innards.

Got several drones since and the wife wishes she would have never got me the first one😂. You were the reason I got my Bugs 2W out of the box after watching your videos and realized it was definitely no toy! It is still one of my all time favorites. Thank you Jay Drone!!! Keep the oldies but goodies coming.

@@JayDrone the GPS chip in the bugs 2,s are solid piece of engineering,when I say the GPS hold is really as good as a DJI drone.
