To answer your question, I'm pretty sure Otto had a disease for a long time before the events of the game. I believe that is the bigger underlying reason for his research. He's seeking a way to power his motor skills through his mind since he will be paralyzed in a matter of time. I don't believe the electrocution on the first test impacted his situation
Honestly watching this video and watching the last of us video it really sparked that writer side to me again. i always wanted to do something with writing in the film or gaming industry and the way you depict these games and it's writing it really makes me wanna pursue it more. cannot wait to see the next one
I will say as far as Shocker goes, he’s often treated as a worthless villain in Spider-Man stories. He’s usually used as a joke of a character and rarely gets his own story arc. Him being used the same way in this game is pretty consistent with Shocker in other mediums. Great video as always, can’t wait for Last of Us 2. Really pulling for it to get the masterpiece rating but I have no idea what to expect as far as your reaction goes. Either way I’m hyped. Thanks for the content, keep doing what you’re doing.
I feel like the mj hate is unjustified, it’s a nice change of pace with the spidey stuff and it gives you a different perspective, the puzzles also make you feel like YOU are Peter figuring out the issues with The problems, plus it hits even more knowing you literally put together all of the stuff doc will use to try and kill you
One of my only criticisms of his criticisms is coincidences, coincidences shape your life and can show you how small the world is, they happen more in your life than you think they do, just because sometimes it makes a game seem unrealistic it's also a part of life

I didn't mind the mini puzzles. The game does have it's flaws and it's far from a masterpiece. 9/10 for me.
I believe there's a side mission, either in the main game or in the DLCs where you actually defeat Tombstone
