This is the type of video i like most from Larry. A classic car that needs lots of love that you can really admire the transformation. I dont enjoy the hypercar videos that have almost no dirt on them other than seeing a unique model.
Same. Seeing the new supercars are cool. But other than dust from sitting or one drive, it's not much of detail. Bringing back old beauties like this that have been forgotten are the best
He probably haven't seen the lack of proportions of the narrow cabin in coupe version. It's a great design but unfortunately coupe always looks a little bit off for me, like it's a variation based on the cabriolet and not the clean sheet project.
I absolutely love jags from this era and even earlier. I was fortunate enough to see a Jaguar collection a while back, I loved the D-type I saw 2 years ago, but couldn’t get enough on the E-types
What a barn find rehab. Just an amazing transformation. Well done, Larry. These E-Type coupes and roadsters are some of the most beautiful car designs ever conceived in my opinion. My dad had a 67 E-Type 4.2 roadster in the mid to late 90s. Burgundy red. I once took that car up to 120mph with the top down and thought the front end was going to come off the ground. Needless to say, I had to back her down after that. Way too scary and not much for seatbelts in those days. Love the Coca Cola trick on the wheels.
I know there some guys in my age group remember this green stamps. I’m 61 and my mother collected them big time and always reminded me to get them when I went to the store for her.
What a gorgeous car. Would have been nice to hear a little about the car's history (why was it left parked outside for 30 years?). I hope it is fully restored and goes to an owner who will drive and enjoy it. A full mechanical restoration video would be cool to watch too.
Fantastic restoration job on one of the most beautiful classics. What makes Larry's videos so special is that it's not only about detailing, but just as much about passion for cars and their history.
Those S&H stamps bring back one of my famous memories growing up as a kid. I was raised in Milwaukee and parents would collect them. You could go into a building and look around and get a gift with them. Parents let one that I choose the steel marble that you had to navigate around and not drop it in the hole. I still have that gift.
Thanks for confirming. Larry mentioned a catalog but I thought I remembered going to a store in my small town where you could redeem the full stamp books for merchandise. BTW, it made me feel really old.
At 56 years old I still remember the very first car that made my heart jump. I was about 8 years old and it was THIS Jag... only a burgundy one. The next car, shortly thereafter was a street 428 Cobra that was for sale at an exotic used lot, it was kind of a burnt orange.
Hey Larry, I am not sure if you personally are editing your videos or have hired an editor. One suggestion I have is - you already voice over which product you are applying - I think it would be helpful to also show the name of the product on the screen as it is applied. It might help us old guys when going back through and looking at products to pick up. Great video. Enjoy your work and knowledge share.
Incredible job on this true classic Larry. I'm dating myself but those S&H green stamps sure brought back memories. Yes, those green stamps were very popular in the 60's. I remember going downtown with my parents to the S&H green stamp store and redeeming those for merchandise. Boy, times sure have changed.
Larry next time try to use mixture of 50:50 water:isopropanol with 1-5% ortho-phosphoric acid it works very well and fast for rust removal. The acid is the one in the soda.
Used to collect S&H stamps till the early 80s'. I have redeemed them for a microscope, binoculars. a lamp, and a blender. Don't know how someone could let a beautiful Jag just sit for over 30 years. Nice job on the clean up.
BEAUTIFUL! The shine of the paint is just breathtaking, great job as always. Special credits to the filming / editing of today's video! It's always perfect, today it really stood out!
The stamps really take me back....my dad would get them at the filling station. Wow......good memories. RIP DAD. WHAT a transformation...especially the rims. Great job.
I found S&H stamps in a 1966 E type barn find too. I have clear recollections of going to the S&H store with my Mom. You did a remarkable job cleaning this car up.
What an amazing car! And an even more amazing person to detail it. I run my own mobile detailing business and I can definitely appreciate everytime I watch your videos.
My very first car; 1967 E-type 2+2. This really brings back memories! Imagine being in high school and driving one of these. I always regretted selling it! One of these days….
That's what I like to see people say that I like old things but it really interesting that in the past have this types of ideas of quirks, features from that period of time different from now. That car turn out beautiful
Night and Day!!! Wow, what a transformation! I really hope he is able yo get that beautiful E-type back on the road to grace our eyeballs and imaginations. Incredibly elegant sports machine. Well done AMMO NYC/ Larry.🥳
Another amazing video from Larry - thank you to Larry and the team for yet another fascinating restoration! Also, as a Brit, nice to see one of our own given the full spa treatment 😁
Hey Larry, Man....these older vehicles are my favorite both in terms of styling and in terms of seeing you work on them. The super high end new ones are cool but, I think they pale in comparison to the classic stylings of these older vehicles. I understand the need to vary the models so that people will buy more but, for my taste these older vehicles were designed with a classic styling and elegance that is unmatched by modern vehicles. I mean literally with few exceptions these older vehicles are just stunning works. Thanks for the fun video Larry and all my best to you and the family man. Peter St. John Clovis, CA
S & H Green Stamps were extremely popular when I was growing up in the 80s. I'm from Northeast PA and a local print shop in my hometown of Jessup PA used to print them for many years. A very good business for sure. The invention of individual loyalty cards put a quick end to the stamps.
I have one kislux bag I got in 2019, it's the LV white catogram speedy. It's counter quality and it has a nice honey patina now, so the leather is real. I think whatever makes you happy go for it. I've seen LV with plastic leather and blood red glaze...
Wonderful. My fav car. I actually love the look of an E Type with the Matt black old look. I think it looks even more amazing. But I’m sure to polish and restore is inevitable and wonderful to watch as always. Best therapy.
This is the type of video i like most from Larry. A classic car that needs lots of love that you can really admire the transformation. I dont enjoy the hypercar videos that have almost no dirt on them other than seeing a unique model.
Yeah me too, I love these clips

This channel has a little bit of something for everyone whether you like barn finds or the newest shiniest thing.
I completely agree. I would rather watch him detail a classic barn find, or a regular car that is a disaster detail.
Axel raw dogging it with no mask or gloves is so funny hahaha
Guess he was born before hantavirus became a thing? Too good.
A man’s man.
Straight raw doggin! 🤯
Imagine when this was new. The guy owning this must have felt like a movie star driving around. Truly an amazing car.
Back in the day, this was my teenage dream car. It's still beautiful after all this time.
There’s a reason that Enzo Ferrari called the E-Type “the most beautiful car ever built!” Nice job!!❤
He probably haven't seen the lack of proportions of the narrow cabin in coupe version. It's a great design but unfortunately coupe always looks a little bit off for me, like it's a variation based on the cabriolet and not the clean sheet project.
Oh boy, that is a beautiful car.
PLEASE give us a followup on this gorgeous car if Axel can get it running and back together. "If." Hah!
This is the detail that I live for!! Great video and result
Glad you liked it!
More with Axel please! He's awesome!
I absolutely love jags from this era and even earlier. I was fortunate enough to see a Jaguar collection a while back, I loved the D-type I saw 2 years ago, but couldn’t get enough on the E-types
never liked the E-type. Proportions look all wrong to my eyes, particularly the front. Reckon I could tolerate a D-type in my garage tho
Really? You mean, the car that Enzo called the most beautiful car ever?!
@@Edwards_second_channel yep
@@jsleeio well, I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. No matter how wrong it is.
The E-Type is my favorite car of all times. Great job!

Yes, we had them over here in the UK ! ....
What a nice E-Type in original condition. It needs to be brought back on the road!
Old Jags are so beautiful
E-Type is possibly my favourite car ever. Thanks guys!

The best detailer out there! Great Job!
That detail is worth every penny you were asking for! Awesome job

@@mjeholdings2013 That makes two of us. :P
There's not many cars in 2024 that will still be regarded as beautiful in sixty years. What a gorgeous machine.
Wow what a car.. The more modern Eagle E-type is a beauty too, they did a great job with it.
Those rims came out great. They look brand new
Absolutely stunning!

Only a detailer pulls up to a house and notices the brake dust first thing 😆 Love the S&H Green Stamps. Haven’t thought about those in a looong time.

Easily one of the most beautiful cars ever made.
Absolutely! It rivals the Ferrari Daytonas of the same period

maybe one of the nicest car of the world

Incredbile results - what a stunner!
That was night and day!
A dramatic transformation, indeed.
Came back around to be a spectacular 20 footer! Amazing what a bit of shine can do. :)
That black on red is absolutely gorgeous. What a beautiful machine

hahaha, Larry pulling up "Look at the break dust on that thing" Love this man.
That’s a beautiful car. Truly is Art.
Love the 60’s psychedelic rock music you put over the polishing sequence. Very fitting!

Those wheels came up beautifully!
I hope he fixes what is needed and drives it. That is a pretty solid looking car!

That Jag came out great, all things considered. The results of the wheels are even more astonishing!

I missed the old garage find details. This was nice.
really enjoyed and love the respect you show to historic vehicles and even the info on the old reel type mower it looked like
Great vid. And what a car. Hope you can continue to find these types of cars. Can’t be easy with so many people looking for them. Just love it.

I can’t believe how good that paint came out! How did you get those massive cracks polished out? The wheels look amazing too. Great was always Larry.

That is one of your best cars that you restored.
Someone in town here owns a cream colored E-type roadster. Just amazing looking. Good stuff, Larry.
such a beautiful car❤
I remember my mom using S&H stamps when I was a kid in the 70’s. So cool.

The pocket protector gave me a chuckle. My mom said my dad always carried one when they met. Just ‘70s engineering things I guess.
That soda worked good on the wheels, imagine what it does to your body.
