With the Mac Mini being an affordable alternative to the latest MacBooks on the line, portable displays have immediate value. Thanks for breaking down the options!
Isn't a Chromebook with a big screen a better investment than a portable monitor? I mean, who really needs all those color spectrums and sharp texts just for a powerpoint presentation? Seems excessive.
Seems like the ideal solution for a personal business need I have when traveling, but not for everyone. I’m just trying to figure out the right size. 18" seems ideal for me.
Show me a Chromebook with an OLED screen with this kind of pixel density (3k res), touch screen, and a 16:10 16" display. The oled one that he didn't even cover is like 250$ rnow lmao
You can use one as a secondary monitor to watch guides, streamers, Spotify+discord while gaming, etc and then when you go play poe2 with a gamepad on the tv you bring it to the couch and can connect it to literally anything - a phone dex, laptop that has a tiny shitty ips 1080p screen etc. just enable "don't shut down when lid is closed" in case you don't know...it's then converted into like a laptop but much superior display to almost any laptop other than omega expensive brand new ones costing 3-4-5 grand. Don't hate on a good thing
A fool and his money are soon parted, or so the saying goes. Who the heck needs their monitor to be portable anyway? Is this just a ploy to make people feel like they're working even when they're out and about?
Portable monitors are the biggest scam. You might as well carry your grandad’s old tube TV around for similar functionality. Can't believe people fall for marketing hype this easily.
@@askeladden450 I have one since I'm constantly doing schoolwork/ programming homework where I need two screens to work on my assignments. Best 50 bucks I've spent.
I seriously can't believe people are wasting money on this junk. portable monitors? just get a real monitor and stop playing pretend tech-head. this is why our generation is financially irresponsible.
You can’t believe it because you know little to nothing about why these are useful, learn something before you mindlessly start talking shit. If you are in film you need one of these to see in real time what your filming
Dude stfu I’m considering getting a portable monitor bc when we were moving and staying at airbnbs, I haven’t been able to play on my PS5 or Switch since there’s only 1 tv there and it’s trash. Now that we’re in our new house, my dad won’t let me have this extra TV that’s supposed to be mine in my room bc long story short he’s an abusive pos but instead of buying my own tv, I want a portable monitor so I can play whenever I want and wherever I want especially when things are complicated or when I’m traveling. I’m also planning to move out soon, and it would be much easier to bring a portable monitor with me instead of a bulky TV.
Grown men shouldn't even look at portable monitors; it’s for people who can’t afford a real desk setup. Real pros would never use a monitor smaller than 24 inches.
It’s not to replace desk set ups, that’s why it’s portable. If you are in film or photography it is crucial for you to see in real time what you are filming
Grown-ups using portable monitors are just too lazy to adjust their eyes to look at their phones. If you can't handle simple light reflections, maybe you shouldn't engage in tech at all lol.

These things are just overhyped tablets without computing power.

I just bought a 24" portable screen. I plan to use it in hotels and while visiting family. Beats working from a tiny laptop screen.
I say your makeup you buy is a scam and you are a fool
Who even needs monitors this sharp? It's not like we're doing brain surgery on our screens.
Asus Rog stric xg17ahpe.
Waste of money!
You fancy car a waste of money

phone nowadays have multiple display, so you can use your phone like a laptop
Person never been to a hotel with out hook ups or taken a cruise ship lmoa
portable monitors suck
It’s depends on use case
Triple monitor setups are ridiculous and only for show-offs. Nobody actually needs that many screens!
Never knew people actually spent money on watching screens. More screens, more stupidity.
I seriously can't believe people are wasting money on this junk. portable monitors? just get a real monitor and stop playing pretend tech-head. this is why our generation is financially irresponsible.

Huh? Dumbass
Grown men shouldn't bother with opinions that morons post online and use what suits their needs
I guess real men take thier desk set up when travelling. Dumbass.
