Derozan should at least be top 3 in MVP voting. And I personally think that he should win. Most of the media expected the Bulls to be a 7 seed or so, not a 1 seed. And this is without Lonzo and Caruso.

Derozan has been really getting the shaft in the mvp race. He is solely responsible for where the bulls are. If he isn't dripping 35 a night on insane efficiency then the bulls aren't in first place. When derozen is out they aren't even competitive. Everyone just cares about 1 guy getting triple doubles all the time but that usually doesn't translate into team success. Derozan is doing the kind of stuff mj did. Just be unstoppable on offense and let everyone else fill their roles.

Demar Derozan was always underrated and unappreciated in my opinion, idk why in nba2k in Toronto he was like 89-90 something overall in my opinion like a 93 to say the least, people forget he only chocked against leBron, before derozan was chocking against everyone in the playoffs and then it only became leBron, stats don’t mean everything, but derozan in his prime was putting up nearly like Kobe like stats, maybe because derozan was in Toronto that’s why he was unappreciated. not even Kawhi could beat lebron, it took KD and Stephen curry, klay Thompson and draymond green to beat prime leBron.

Gotta admit that my bulls were playing not very good defensive teams with bellow 500.s record and thats why dmar's numbers are even more fantastic. But what im seeing from Dmar this season is a perform way over the expectations, playing with more confidence, carrying ofensive in the clutch and being very consistent, that and our deep are the reasons why were having a very good season so far, gotta stay healthy

  • @Lo13Lz

I think DBo can keep this same production up & is primed for a huge playoffs. He’s playing with a chip on his shoulder and it’ll only help getting all our guys back healthy. He’s been holding the fort up and come playoff time he shouldn’t have to carry the load he is right now, but that doesn’t mean he still won’t go off.

Then who do you take out of the top 3? Jokic, who plays the statisically best season in NBA history, while averaging 26/13.8/7.9 with 15 Tripple Doubles AND playing his by far best defensive season ever? OR Giannis, who averages 29.4/11.4/6 and is also a DPOY candidate? OR Embiid, who also averages absurd numbers in 29.6/11.2/4.5 while also being in the DPOY race?
      So who has to go?
I actually love to see DeRozan play. The closest thing to MJ or Kobe I've seen in ages. But he isnt a top MVP candidate. Cause like he sad in the Video. He isnt top 10 in any other major statistical category except PPG, and also a bad defender.

Derozan has broken 2 NBA records this season already, in my opinion he deserves to win the MVP. Back to back buzzer beaters in consecutive nights, never done before. Broke Wilt's record for 35+ with 50+ percent shooting. Top of the Eastern conference. Immediately elevated his team to a championship contender status as soon as he joined the team. Yea, he deserves the MVP this year.

Man I feel like the fix is in. It’s a style of play thing. They not even acknowledging the man. He’s definitely the MVP. Back to back game winners? All those games in a row over 35ppg? The One seed in the East? No Lonzo, No Curuso, No Levine, carrying the franchise on his back in his first season? The Bulls? It’s a no brainer. What the man’s doing is Legendary. I’ve been neither hear nor there on Demar during his career, liked um, thought he had to play the modern style (take more threes) we were all wrong and instead he doubled and tripped down on his style of play and made it unguardable. He’s the only one who plays like that so Defenses aren’t even constructed to stop that sort of attack and players aren’t used to defending a guard in those spots. It’s remarkable; and at the same time it’s criminal how the voters and media are sweeping it under the rug to push the agenda of the wide open 3 point offense which ironically his play is a beneficiary of as this video detailed. It’s cuz the floor is spaced that he can operate one on one. Is this the counter revolutionary force to the analytical three or drive philosophy? I think so, and they don’t like it.
