I bought Hoovies Garage CL65 AMG and I can't believe it survived CarTrek. I bought the car knowing the twin-turbo V12 had a bad oil leak and that the hydraulic suspension was leaking but so much more broke on the trip it was ridiculous. Grab some popcorn and enjoy the show!

Loving your vids man. My late father was a mechanic in the US Army. Was in WW II and Korea. He and my mom traveled the world. He mainly worked on trucks. Those big things of that era used to transport troops and equipment/supplies. He retired shortly after I was conceived. Moved my mom home and purchased a farm to raise beef cattle. So I got to help him work on all sorts of tractors, trucks, farm equipment. Even did a brake job on the car once. I learned a LOT, but didn't realize it till years later. Look forward to seeing your future projects!

Me and some friends once drove from Toronto, Ontario to Winnipeg, Manitoba and back a week later (2,900 miles round trip) in a 1992 Chevy Corsica with a broken odometer and speedometer. We used to have to leave the motor running during gas fill ups (I know, I know) because the car wouldn't restart immediately due to a starter that would get heat soaked and required cooling down for about an hour. When I was working for UOP, Universal Oil Products at Riverside IL in the 80s as a chemical process engineer, I used their octane 97 gas to test it out on my 79 Alfa Romeo Sprint Veloce. Later I just moved out from freezing cold country to the west coast. My Alfa was bought new from NH, drove to Chicago for my first job after college. Then drove to San Francisco with no issues! Had to wear ear plug as the car was so loud still loud after all these years! I'm impressed about your MB only you trained to repair MB can do this!

i think the "fix" without using tools was the water remover fuel additive... he thinks bad gas was causing the misfire and it was indeed running significantly better after dumping a bottle of the additive and topping off the fuel.
