    Sean did my PPI and was great; he knows these cars really well. The PPI allowed me to negotiate on the price since I was going to fix the issues. Had my 2014 12c spider for about 4 months and love driving it, it's an absolute blast.

    McMedics are awesome guys and truly know these cars inside out. I've met Kevin who is very close to where I live and have been to their ATL shop. It was thanks to Sean's videos online of him sharing what to look for, his experience of owning a 12C for over 4 years, that gave me the confidence to buy my own 12C and I've loved every minute of it. Have the PPI done, call the local McLaren dealer with the VIN and ask for the service history, and do your own inspection. After that, just make sure you stay current on the maintenance like any car, and enjoy the smiles per gallon. Thank you for sharing!

    PPIs are definitely a necessity for any and all super car purchase! And the Dealers of these super cars should all be required to take the time and learn everything about the car they sell, which they can simply do from being involved and asking questions about the car during a PPI just like what Dan did in this video. Kudos to Dan!👏👏👍👍😎🏎Because there are just way too many buyers of these super cars nowadays that are way more knowledgeable about these super cars than the Dealerships that sells them.

      I would trust McMedics more than a dealership

    • @qmccall0328
      @qmccall0328 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@normalguysupercar McLaren Qualified means you get a warranty - so no out of pocket cost if one those ridiculous high repairs happen. People severely underestimate McLaren repair cost for the most simplistic repair. I love McLaren but without a Qualified warranty - that is no for me. As soon I locate a 720s in the color I desire and Qualified I am buying. Most McLarens can be Qualified at any dealership if they past the inspection. The mp4-12c may not be eligible anymore because of the age. This guy is offering a great service and I will hire to inspect my upcoming purchase.

    • @McMedics
      @McMedics 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      What if I told you the things you see as warranty claims are inflated, or even misdiagnosed? Example, the warranty for 1 year on this car is $7,000. Let's say in a worst case scenario the DLD was bad. That's a $7,000 job for me, but it's a $14,000 dealer job. Very rarely will you spend $7,000 on a repair with me so you'll always come up cheaper than the warranty cost. Even if you had a worst case engine out cam phaser replacement at $10k, that's way less than 2 years of warranty. To have a legitimate $30k suspension repair, he had to have had a P1 or Senna, and even that is stretching it to full retail and milking labor.

    • @qmccall0328
      @qmccall0328 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@McMedics Fair enough. I always figured they were adding the Mclaren labor and parts tax. The qualified is usually around 5-7 a year depending on the car. I am always quoted different prices. I will definitely reach out when I found the 720s I am wanting. I appreciate your expertise and knowledge. For so long there was not an ability to have independent Mclaren service.
