We are still getting prepped for the next manual paddle shift at a high RPM to test the transmission further. This coming week my video on replacing the brakes, tires - all the things we need to make it safe to go at higher speeds is coming out. I hope to be back testing the transmission by end of July. My damn day job is getting in the way of video creation. Thanks for Watching, if you haven't subscribed to the channel yet, please consider it!. Thanks for following along on this crazy journey.
I totally misinterpreted the title of this video. I thought you were saying that you had them inspect your car, then you bought it and it was messed up. Ended up being much, much more interesting than I thought. I'm absolutely horrified to see some of this - this is stuff I fully expect on an old Subie or something. But like... wrong side indicator, random screws trying their best to hold on to things. Oh. Oh no. Thanks for the video!
I had a good idea of what I was getting into when I bought this car, I knew about the accident, but I did not know about all the crappy repairs. McMedics showed me a lot and I am enjoying the renovation! Wish me luck and thanks for watching! My next video is coming out this week!
Lots of good info here!
Thank you 🙏 I watch your videos to learn a lot! Can’t wait to see if out of paint! Keep up the grind!
@theInja maybe we can come see you next👀
as someone shopping for my first McLaren, this was a very helpful video! I've heard nothing but great things about McMedics
Thank you for watching! The inspection with Kevin from McMedics and SupercarGarageATL was well worth it!
Great video. Would love to hear what you found re: the hard 3-4 shift up at the high RPMs. Did the fluid change resolve that?
This is the next video in my investigation. Make sure you subscribe and keep on watching: th-cam.com/video/oQJF-MkpHgM/w-d-xo.html
Great video! What was the issue when you shifted on the drive? Was it one of the 3 speed sensors that need replacing?
