i worked at mcdonalds for 3 years, we used REAL eggs we had to crack them into egg rings just like you did here.

Also they do put butter on there they have a melted type luiquid butter in a spray bottle and they spray it on.

Mcdonald's do put butter on it, but its a spray cooking oil, you can ask for free butter and butter it yourself to ! lol maccas uses real eggs to !

+Greg's Kitchen i used to work at mcdonalds AUS and they do put butter on the muffins, but only on the top, also they are real eggs, they are steamed in egg rings with water
no floor scrapings in gregs kitchen.just good food.

I make these all the time only I put mixed mayo and mustard on the English muffin for added flavor. Aussie sausage looks nothing like we have here in the States but as long as it does the trick.... I think you have to ask for a real egg at Mc D if you want it made with one. Not sure what they use if not using a real egg. I don't want to know lol. I never had one from Mc D, I've always made them myself. Oh and if you don't have an egg ring? You can use the wide mouth canning rings, just make sure you spray them well with non stick spray.
