I know this is somewhat an old video now, just a quick question. Did you have any issues using the rubber hoses? Did you end up replacing your transcooler lines or still using the rubber hoses?
Hey there I love your content I’m seeing different prices on eBay from $75 to $150. Not sure if some of the ones that are $75 are real because of the price difference..thoughts?
I haven’t had any issues with the the hoses on the bottom just make sure to use fuel injector clamps to prevent them from coming off. I don’t have a gauge currently to read temps but I will get one installed and make an update video when I do.
Great question. I watched a lot of other installs where people installed them both ways and everyone that installed the hoses from the bottom seemed to get the same results.
If you cut the fittings or hard lines, you want to flare the ends before attaching the rubber lines so it doesn't leak. You can rent the tool at most auto parts stores if you don't have them
I like it without the grill... They add too much weight to an already heavy front end... Very noticeable also... A smaller push bar like tha police have is OK but I like mine ButKey Nakey!!!! Truck looks good... You are not BAn when it come to the front end suspension either... There pron to worn parts fast. Cheaply made if you ask me... Chevy should be ashamed of themselves... Especially w/that 4 L60E... Which I need on right now going to cost me @ least 2500.00... I want to put a 4L80 in but I've just put a new PCM in for the 4L60E... I honestly wish my truck was where your level of upgrade are... Dam I don't have the time to do it myself & I'm a ex-tech that know all of this... Just busy w/work now...
Your Tahoe is coming together. Looks good, not overdone. Tastefully done.

I am not sure about that since I bought mine on Amazon.
I was told the hoses had to be on top,, does it really matter?... What's your transmission average temperature??

@@chantzsgarage Perfect. I'm gonna install it your way then. TY!!!!!!
i know someone else mentioned it but, did the rubber hoses work fine? are they still on to this day?
They have worked fine for me I haven’t had any issues with them to date
@@chantzsgarage and you just cut the fittings off the lines and connected the rubber straight to that right?

@@chantzsgarage is there a bracket I can order? And all the fittings to make everything simple?
@@rorybuckendahl9806 I am pretty sure there is one out there somewhere but it is simple to put on with the included hardware.
