Man, working on this series was awesome! The last episode might've been rushed, but I'm quite happy of how everything turned out. I learned a ton for my editing style and it can only get better!

Fun fact: the section explaining how to play the characters in the instruction booklet for Brawl recommends not using Zero Suit Samus’s Final Smash.

I didn't know that competitive Smash players also wrote the instruction booklet for the game
@@zaneheaston8254 In the booklet, it tells you that using Samus’s Final Smash makes you use a giant laser, and then her armor breaks. With ZSS, it mentions that the armor gets put back on, but warns not to use it if you don’t want to switch. It only puts that warning on ZSS, not regular Samus.
One thing everyone can agree on is that Subspace Emissary is absolutely one of the best things the series has ever done. Such a nostalgic place in my heart, and these edits got me laughing 🤣
I agree with you there, plus it’s honestly a better story mode than world of light in my opinion. You never see story modes like this that have enemies so your not just defeating other characters, only melee and brawl do that.

Man, this brings back memories. Subspace will always have a special place in my heart. Especially so considering the fact they couldn't fit sonic into the story anywhere so they had him show up right before the final boss

I really loved this game mode
Brawl was my first Smash game I've played and seeing Lucas for the first time in playthrough is what got me into having him as my main throughout the whole series.
Yooo, Brawl was my first Smash game too! And since then, I’ve been building up my team! I main Meta Knight.
Same bro Lucas was my first main as a five-year-old. Plus Sophist and Nick don’t know that Lucas and Ness are cousins so Ness sacrificing himself makes sense

What Tabuu lacks in presence he makes up for in difficulty. It felt suitably climactic for you guys in this video. And i loved the running gags, like the evil Mite laughs.
Seriously im glad you played this, its a real shame Smash Bros hasnt had a story mode thats felt like a genuine adventure since this and its cool that fans still show Brawl and Subspace Emissary love despite their flaws. Your friend and editor are legends. :)
I think World of Light is really awesome, but I get what you mean. The story of Brawl has much more adventure and more enemies than WoL. I just think now what if Nintendo took the best parts of Subspace Emissary and put on Ultimate. The Switch version would be unbeatable.

Watching my favorite TH-camrs play the greatest Smash Story Mode in the world and seeing them experience it like I did with my sister is amazing. Makes me wanna play this again after 7 years
Watching them get ruined by every single hazard, usually multiple times, was incredibly hilarious
Pit hard counters those giant reaper things. His reflector shield actually reflects them and then he gets his scythes stuck in the ground.

I love how the editor talked about Star Fox fans getting upset over the ship being misnamed and still got the name wrong. (The ship is called the Great Fox. Venom is the name of the planet it's flying in the stage).

You should unlock the 3 post-story characters. When going to certain levels after beating Tabuu, there'll be a new door that wasn't there your first time through. Go into these doors, & take on the challengers within. Win against a challenger to unlock them in all modes, including The Subspace Emissary. These 3 challenger battles will be tough, but I'm rooting for ya, guys! If you beat Tabuu on Intense while dodging his Off Waves, AKA The OP Instakill Shockwaves of Cataclysm, I'm certain that you can defeat these 3 foes in the TRUE grand finale! Hint: There's one that appeared a short distance forward from where you fought Giga False Diddy Kong.

I remember fighting rayquaza for the first time being big into pokemon it was awesome. This is easily the most nostalgic and amazing game in the series along with ultimate. I rember how broken meta knight was good times
