I remember a legendary game in my family's Christmas party like a decade ago where a guy (I believe is now an ex boyfriend of one of my cousins since this man vanished from existence after this party... rip bozo) guessed correctly on the SECOND TURN. Literally no info just "Mrs. White in the Hall with the Revolver" and we were all in disbelief.

Anyone else notice that, three times, Vern had cards he didn't reveal when he needed to? Imagine them getting to the end and not being able to reach a conclusion because of that.
He always revealed cards it looked like. He usually had the loop as the one he gave
@@fuzzyotterpaws4395 Without rewatching the video, I definitely remember it happening on Brent's first guess (Brent guesses manor) and later when Brent guesses Peach on the loop, Vern says "I have... one of those", but he has both. It then cuts to Brent's POV, and he hasn't crossed out the manor, and he was only told the loop, not Peach.
He only needed to reveal one card he had even if he had all three (which did happen once) so in those cases it was dealer's choice, and of course he would pick the most inconvenient one to reveal. Toxic as hell, but certainly in the spirit of a Party Crashers game!

@10:35 - I might say - that the Clue Online Game which exists on Steam had NOT the rule, that you can not show the same card to same person twice in a game. Technically you can show a person the same card over and over again, cause it's considered bad "asking" to be able to get the same answer twice.
Can I just say sophist, when I saw this live, this was the first time EVER the game clue made sense to me. so thank you.

Super cool idea for a Mario Party vids! I'd love to see some other board games turned into Mario Party (Battleship, Monopoly, or something like those)
It's low-key kind of crazy to me that Nick continues to prove himself to be the smartest member of the group since he not only spends most of each game goofing off but also making dumb decisions off the back of his emotions.
But actually seeing him do extremely well in these Mario Party gimmicks is really cool since he also has a tendency to get dunked on by Mario Party, sometimes almost as badly as Sophist.
Vernias not mashing in the pooky's minigame is a certified Vernias Moment XD

I haven’t played Clue in YEARS! It’s one of my favorite board games. It’s like a logic puzzle but you have to fish for the clues. I’ve forgotten my strategies.
This was a fantastic idea to spice up Mario Party. I hope we can revisit this idea in the future.
I loved this new gimmick! It was so fun! If you wanna do something like this again in the future, you could do a game where everyone has the ability to lie ONCE. Thought it might add some delicious toxicity. You can have it so after a specific turn, everyone has to confess to their lie. I dunno. Might just overcomplicate things.

I've never seen a rule that you can't show the same catd twice if someone asks about it more than once. It's a valid strategy. Unless this is only in the latest versions of the board game.

aaaaa I love Clue so much! This is really creative and a bit convoluted, but you made it work. I appreciate the effort with the map, card art, and the cross off card. Also I see you with the title switch, but I get it. Search optimization and less confusion for those who don't know Clue.
If you plan on doing this again it would be fun to include the intrigue cards/powers. Might make things more convoluted, but stuff like "don't show the guesser a clue you have" or "you can make a guess in a location you are not in" would be nice (others include, "you get to see the card" and "the person to your left/right must show you a card"). In some versions of Clue, the powers are cards when you land on a ? space (I know older clue games didn't have intrigue cards) so maybe change the green spaces to power acquisition spaces and only the person who wins a minigame or gets a star can guess.
Regarding showing the same card twice, I think that part of the fun strategy of Clue is making sure you don't accidentally ask for information you already know before you can ask the next person something you DO wanna know. So for instance, Sophist wanted to clear Wario and cannon, but since he had asked about the loop and vern is always next and had already showed him the loop, he should have made the location something other than the loop so it can sneak by Vern

I don’t know a lot on Clue but, from what I see, this is a Excellent Gimmick. Not relying on the Game Mario Party, but on Strategy & Knowledge. This feels Perfect for it. Amazing Job on it, would love to see this Gimmick Again.

Clue has an absolutely amazing movie adaptation, for those who don’t know
We always house rule it that you have to show off any clue you have in their guess.
It prevents people from just sitting in one place and being like Colonel Mustard, Pipe, Billiards Room... Colonel Mustard, Rope, Billiards Room... Etc etc etc. makes it more frustrating in short term, but less grindy
