I think it's also the problem of the way it moves, plays, and controls is very different than modern titles, since it was made to be played on Wii mote. Even Melee uses a much more traditional controller. Once you get the hang of it, it's not bad at all. It's like playing a more casual melee without all the technical aspects.

I went various characters I guess. Smash Wii U was the game where I started to improve in Smash generally, but I have a lot of fond memories of Brawl. Heck I didn't even know spiking was in this game until years later.

I love Super Smash Brawl as a kid, this was my first ever fighting game i have ever gotten. I still play it to this Day.
