dedicated this to my son who had troubles at birth and I was scared I was going to lose him. kept listening to this song for some reason and he's the only thing I think about when I hear it. I love you Xander. daddy will always keep you safe.
Thank you both I didnt even know this comment got any attention... Xander is almost 2 come march and hes stout, strong and cute as can be. I'm really truly a lucky guy. Still love this song a lot and when I listen to it I get sad and teary eyed but I just think about him.
@@sebastiandeery9065 thanks you:) this boy will be 3 in March and he's been bullying his 5 year old brother. Lol I'm telling you guys, he's a tough kid. Luckily those 2 brothers absolutely adore each other.

If you're self taught that is truly amazing and what you have created with your passion. Do you think it's odd that I naturally strum up with single string picking, and strum down when playing chords? (I can alternate pick now) sweep picking has been the hardest challenge though. I am self taught as well.
I was abused as a child and my entire family hated me because of who my parents were. Spent two decades suffering under that thinking it was normal and I deserved it. It took years for me to finally walk away from it all and find my own way in life away from my abusers And if it wasn't for music like this I could never have survived that challenge. Homeless on the streets, but at least this song kept me content. Thank you Plini sincerely for reminding me real love and care still exists even if I have yet to experience it.
Oompa Loompa Technically this would probably be labeled as Progressive Djent or Ambient Metal. There are many forms of metal, doesnt always have to be hard breakdowns and shredding.
This is my favourite song. It has been for years now. I'm going through heartache atm and this song is just really speaking to me. The contrast in sections showing that light/darkness of a heart. The happy and the sad. It's amazing and the live version on the Japan gig was beautiful too. My favourite artist and song by a mile.
Ah yes, the song that started it all for me. To think that I almost turned off spotify's recommendation playlist before this popped up when I was on my way to take a friend to work... ever since I've taken the sound of music to heart. I will never stop reaching for my goal, and it's almost all because of you, thank you so much!
@@Allardino Oh for sure man! Look up "Archetype: Tim Henson" he did it as an ad or promo for a brand that sells mixing hardware and software, it is VERY much so eerily akin to HEART in notes
Love the creativity behind this one. Love the random, "chat-chat-chat" noises in the background. It reminds me of one of those fancy restaurants where they prepare the food right in front of you, with blades drawn, cutting boards out with the sound of chopping and casual commotion.
michael shapiro i seen animals as leaders and he was supporting with intervals and such. i just classed them all as brilliant working together. i was watching live ones as the time i wrote this. must have muddled myself up x
such a positive attitude towards music, so gentle, good vibes, spiritual, good mood. we don't have to be in the edge and so tense in life, sometimes we must lay back relax and appreciate life without going against the current.
Flann Bolger, they're a Japanese post/math rock band, I recommend you listening to their songs "Two Moons", "Goodbye(feat. Toki Asako)" and "Run for Word".
I was listening to a random instrumental playlist as background music for drawing and then I heard the clicking at the start of this song, without knowing what song it as visually. I made that scrunched up, 'Yessss', face and correspondingly said "Yessss." I love your music Plini.
Just heard this for the first time last night. When I started it I thought something was wrong with my computer speakers. Keep it coming Plini! This is some of the best instrumental music I've ever heard.
I love Shenmue's music, and I die from nostalgia every time I hear it in other works. This is incredible and I'm kinda ashamed I hadn't heard it until now.

My heart just broke in half, healed itself and grew three sizes.
All the best to you and your son all throughout this life.

Same here! I also love the reference he makes to "Sweet Nothings" throughout the song ^^
Exactly what I think too
Cryptonic Garden Other way around I believe. Sweet Nothings references this release as this is one of his first.
check out David by Animals as Leaders. such beauty
..and after years, this song still is one of the most beautiful songs I ever heard.

Oh man you're in for a great time, this is the song that started it all for me, 11 years ago
Anybody noticed the heartbeat rhythm at the beginning? It actually complemented the title of the song. Plini, you're amazing!
The amount of amazing music in general coming out of Australia lately is phenomenal.
Plini please never stop!
haha. Eb standard for the electrics and a random open tuning i can't remember for the acoustics!
(Plini laughs maniacally to himself)
Based
I would put this as my alarm clock but I hated every song I put as my alarm and I dont want to hate this...

Plini, your music is just so full of beauty. My words cannot describe what this song does to my mind but it's wonderful!
This was THE music for me when I found it, for real. Your earliest stuff is absolutely the greatest. We Need you to take a look back friend….
mmm ambient metal at its finest! This is so beautiful. Through Animals as Leaders I got into these guys and Chon :D
This is not metal.
Oompa Loompa everything is metal. getting a little rusty :o?
Oompa Loompa Technically this would probably be labeled as Progressive Djent or Ambient Metal. There are many forms of metal, doesnt always have to be hard breakdowns and shredding.
xXTheFreakinManxX There is nothing Djent about this.
this sure sounds prog/ambient but nothing djent or metal about it...

Love that album!!!!! So unique ❤Love you Plini!!!!!
Thank you for making me a better person, almost 10 years ago now. Your music is and always has been so healing.
Plini is almost basically my favorite band, and I wish that this soothing piece of music was longer. I love the ideas that I hear in here.
Man, can't believe Tim Henson played a rendition of this! Rock on, Plini! You have a further reach than you think!
Wait, when was this? Do you have a link?

A lot of this song really reminds me of David Maxim Micic's writing. Stellar and genius.

Nice profile pic man. I thought I'd be the only one who likes both Lamb of God and Plini. haha

You guys are not alone! Only Meshuggah separate Lamb of God and Plini on my ipod :D

perfectly alright, they're all great bands with a similar sound, easy to mix up.
Something's up with Australians and their music lately.
Well, even the guy who composed the soundtrack for the video game Doom is Australian.

I hear some TOE in there! Much Love from the Philippines!
Ben B who is TOE? I want to check them out
Flann Bolger, they're a Japanese post/math rock band, I recommend you listening to their songs "Two Moons", "Goodbye(feat. Toki Asako)" and "Run for Word".
I just got into Toe and their album “The future is now“ and noticed the similarities! I know what you mean!! :)
It sound like a rendition of Tsuki Kake, but with twist of jazzy, extended chords and more latin-influenced rhythm section.

my favorite Plini song
WOW🤩
The part at the 14th second resonates with most of Plini's work. At the end of sweet nothings it's heard. Just beautiful. I love this so much.

I love the click-track. Makes the song feel so real
PLEASE GOD MAKE MORE STUFF PLINI, I literally cannot get enough of your stuff! ;_;
Also this one... wonderful
I LOOOOOVE it since 2013
Great song!
I seriously feel some Toe influences in this one, esp in the intro. Amazing stuff.
I would kill to this far out there.... This is a whole new level of creativity.
Hey man I just found your music and I love it. I can't wait to listen to everything!
I very much like this song
agrada al alma y al intelecto simultáneamente, Genial!
This stimulates the Heart Chakra Center.
The lead at 2:37 is enough to make a man cry! So tasteful.
So what are the chances Tim Henson used this as motive for his archetype plugin demo? I recognise that main line off the bat
I also like Metal very much but this is another kind of high................amazing!
SO TOUCHING!!! GREAT SONGGGGGGGG
This is so beautiful.
This reminds me of Toe from japan, loved it
Amazing,beautiful 👌
sounds like tim henson got some influences from here from his archetype plug-in video :)
You've given me something to aspire to and enjoy. Thank you.
Gorgeous composition!

This is beyond perfect
I feel like I should be in a field of wildflowers on a cloud of my thoughts on a planet way far away from here
Has anyone noticed that the end of Paper Moon leads into this song with the clicking?
Glad someone else has, I listen back to back frequently
