Ok we have up next some BTBAM with their newest single Extremophile Elite and shortly after Ne Obliviscaris with Devour me, Colossus part 1 and 2... youre not going to want to change the channel
Tripping balls to this album made Plini feel like a father to me. Helping me walk with Selenium Forest all the way to kicking me out of the house with Pastures. Maybe it’s the drugs but I feel like he makes this music because he loves us.
Your music influences me to be the best human I can be. Sounds corny but I don't know how else to express what this phenomenal music does to my existence. Thank you.
That fucking solo though Best solo I have ever heard in my life so smooth, controlled it gives me the goose bumps ever single time I listen to it...every...time...solos like these have abilities to turn your day around or be really greatful for what you have that solo is just genius
Normally I listen to an album for a couple of months before I venture out for something new, but this album is straight up something Ill never get tired of replaying over and over
I heard everything from Plini and i think the solo of this song is his biggest achievement so far, every single note is played from the heart, especially the last notes played with whammy bar. The whole song is awesome but the solo is out of this galaxy.
That solo was so climatic and energetic, like (sorry to refer it like this) a literal eargasm. Its been a long time since I heard this for the first time, that it really did catch me off guard. Hit better than the first time, hit so hard Plini's got to give you like a break the first seconds after it. Like room to breath, as if he knows Im holding my breath thru the solo. That outro was so good omg
This is by far my favorite song of yours. The slow buildup to the crescendo/solo at the end is divine...it takes me out of this world every time I listen. So satisfying to make the journey every playthrough. Wonderful work.
I am tripping while being overwhelmed by a roller-coaster of emotions, each one being pulled outside me as the song goes on....... awakened and allowed to manifest in an undisturbed manner Anyway.... can't express this joy and satisfaction through words.
This album does something to my soul. I showed my mother this album and she too was speechless, she stared into my eyes and started crying, and then I did, and then we hugged for about a minute telling each other we love each other. Then we laughed and laughed and laughed. It really is magical and I can not thank you guys enough for creating this beautiful piece of art and for the meaningful moment I shared with my mother soul to soul. Ah!💛
Plini, in case you ever read this- In my group of friends i'd consider myself of the music knowledge guy. I listen to tons of different artists, and play guitar myself. not too good , but i do.( if thats anything good for actually music theory ) when it comes to composing a song and making it work in all it varieties, you just impaled me son. this is my favorite song when it comes to the basic of music. every single piece of what i'd wish for is there. this, is a work of art. and your solo section with the trem action just lead me into a fucking mental state. great work, i thank you personally for making such a piece. 733k views as it has at the moment is a joke to me. you deserve more, and sure you will get more. with all my love, greetings from germany plini.
You know what? This isn’t just Plini’s best solo. This is the best guitar solo ever played. By anybody. Ever. I’m serious. Name something better. It’s like, beyond Yngwie, beyond Batio fast. And thematically, way better than anything they’ve ever done. Or Vai. Or Satriani. For real.
fucking beautiful and amazing good job plini still cant believe I met you can't wait to see you guys in houston tx with animals as leaders and intervals!!!!! (: and troy Wright killing it on the drums!!!!
I think this one has something special in all the tracks i listened from Plini. Of course all the content created and all the tracks are very awesome. Just that this one has something that make me happy. In my opinion.
Such beautiful piece, take my mind to travell another dimension just closing eyes and listening, specially at sweeping in solo combined with that background, thanks plini! ✌️
mark heyne Of course Holdsworth is way more complex and nerdy. Way more difficult to understand. Way more dark-jazzy. You might like him or not. But he is the main reason jazz-fusion guitar exists. Plini loves him and even mimics him. I would definitely love to have more sweet melodic tunes from Holdsworth, but once you understand him, it’s just unbelievable that a guitar player was playing like him on the early 70s and had such a character that you can easily identify him without a look. Still nowadays, remains as a unique guitar player. He was kinda out of our leagues. Even for me has been difficult to understand him but it’s because he is too much.
@@lucasvarela9632 All of it. But if you are looking for places to start, 4.15 Bradford executive, non-brewed condiment, road games, the whole tony Williams lifetime album, soft machine: Bundles album, and the first 2 Buford albums
I love you so much for this cause I could finally prove to people you were Halcyon. Blew my mind to know I’ve been listening to you for so long when I figured that out.
I haven't heard you playing anything this heavy in a LONG time. I'm so excited to listen to the rest of this album. I've been sleeping on it, and shame on me- I've had so many other albums to listen to, but this should have been at the forefront of them all.
It was just my exclamation to finally hear something that wasn't in standard tuning, but rather something like Drop C like he did with Cloudburst and his material on the Sithu Aye split.
Sacredgeometry but he never plays in standard. :o from what I know his songs are either in drop C# or Standard D#. Except for Cloudburst which is in Drop A#
I like to imagine a parallel universe where this is the type of music on the radio. So good! Thank you again Plini!
Does that mean we'd be watching Drake videos on youtube?...
that made me laugh and cringe at the same time, hahaha
I would flip a baby off a table if I heard ANY radio station play Plini, or any prog band for that matter.
Ok we have up next some BTBAM with their newest single Extremophile Elite and shortly after Ne Obliviscaris with Devour me, Colossus part 1 and 2... youre not going to want to change the channel
I am from another universe, though it may be a perpendicular one, and this IS on the radio.
The solo at 4:10 gives me goosebumps almost every time I listen to it. Amazing.
Jay Russo same here god it's amazing
For The Love of God!!! Reminds me of a certain other track by another other-worldly guitarist 😇
4:10 Plini's best solo ever. So far.
Agreed🔥🎸it's unreal, especially from 4:42 on
I don't know, the ones in Selenium Forest and Pan are pretty hard to beat...
@@avi8aviate And yet, this solo achieves just that:)
We got a top three, boys.
Crazier if you think he was 19 when he first released it.
Im trippin with this on my couch in a rainy day and I think this is one of the most colorful and beautiful albums I've ever heard in my life.
enjoy :)
and yet it somehow manages too be chunky in parts.
Tripping balls to this album made Plini feel like a father to me. Helping me walk with Selenium Forest all the way to kicking me out of the house with Pastures. Maybe it’s the drugs but I feel like he makes this music because he loves us.
@@ryanlyle9201 I know what you mean, his music has pulled out of several bad trips
Oh ya beautiful and the tones he got on this album...man the tones !
Every time I don’t hear it for a while, this solo melts my friggin brain. 🧠💨
I almost had a spiritual experience with this solo starting at 4:10 o.O
oh I do every time I listen. It is incredible really
you should have let it happen. There is no reason for "almost" to be in that sentence brother!
Steve vai mode on
It's because you had a spiritual experience. We all had.
I can definitely hear Plini influences here!
?? This is Plini
He meant the musicains that inspire/influence Plini. I hear a little bit of Alan Holdsworth in there.
HAHAHA
There are so much Vai here
the solo for sure has some Vai in it. not sure if Plini is inspired by him but that's definitely his kinda style
2:04 that melody sounds like nothing else. Sounds like the cosmos themselves.
Your music influences me to be the best human I can be. Sounds corny but I don't know how else to express what this phenomenal music does to my existence. Thank you.

One of the best solos I've ever heard

This song makes perfectionism seem worth it.
I heard everything from Plini and i think the solo of this song is his biggest achievement so far, every single note is played from the heart, especially the last notes played with whammy bar. The whole song is awesome but the solo is out of this galaxy.
4:10 - 5:20 No words...
Seriously man. One of the best solos I have ever heard from him. And just in general. It's so emotional and appropriate.
Adam Wakeling i cant stop sayin godddddammmmmmnnnn!!!!!
It's glorious, really. It instantly hits me every time with an emotion I can't even describe.
and...0:00-7:33 No Words...
Pretty Vai-ish style isn´t it?
thank you so much for bringing this song back from the old days. really amazing
#Amen
#Love #News #Word #God #Amen
It’s hard to describe how fantastic this song is. It’s perfection. It really takes over my body when I hear it.
When Pink Floyd meet Steve Vai and Lukather... Just so strange and beautiful !
Not hearing much Floyd influence in this song or any of Plini's music tbh
@@ryukan250I hear some Yes in it.
Plinis compositions and prowess are so beautiful and emotional, I hope he creates more like this.
Straight up in my bedroom recording it, haha. and by "IT" I mean my Plinis.
Stumbling into this is the best accident,, the solo such a blast !! crying xoxo
I wanna see a live video of this...Searched everywhere and not even covers...one of the best songs of the album personally...

I would never get that kind of response out of my mom.
That’s kind of gay

Absolutely tremendous, Plini is the man.
Can definitely hear a lot of Vai & Devin Townsend
R.Young good spot for the Devin influences, a trained ear you possess ;)
Man what I’d give to hear Devin and Plini make a song together. My favorite singer and my favorite guitarist.
7:04 The double base along with that nice little outro
So much Vai, especially 4:46. Love it!
Every second of this album is straight masterpiece. 10/10
the most intensive and unique song of the album! cant stop to listen it
The guitar solo in this is mesmerizing
I remember this from back in the Petrucci forum days ;D Love this new version!
Love your work man!
Nice
Sean Ashe nice to see you here I love your work man keep it up
i dig your feel and phrasing, Sean. refreshing!
so plini was active in dream theater forum?
a drum playthrough of this would be awesome
My personal favourite off this album ! Incredibly immersive and those early Vai influenced phrasing and licks are out of this world !
So many smoke drives to the original of Pastures. Good times man, this is fucking beautiful
Same bro, same
Halcyon?
Hell yeah dude
I keep coming back for this solo
This song stuck out the most on the album for me
Plini You are the next generation of guitar hero ps.fans from Thailand
Best song on the album, probably my favorite guitar solo ever
i love the reoccurring theme in all his music
That outro is just magical
This is my favourite plini song. Which is saying a lot as I love Plini!
This song makes me cry every time 🤎
holy shit, throwback to the halcyon days! didn't even know this album was dropping, i'm out of the loop
Wow! I can definitely hear the Allan Holdsworth influence! Great song!
See more that Steve Vai than anything, but Plini is a musical genius o.o
I definitely heard both Vai and Holdsworth the first time I listened to all the tracks
Considering that Steve Vai and Alan Holdsworth are absolute references for me, Plini music is perfect
I was thinking the same thing!!!
I hear Plini.
Crazy that this is one of his earlier songs, still stands up.
Only 600k views? Criminal.
I beyond Love Plini and his friends. I have the older version of this from Halcyon. Different vibe, but both amazing!!
I came here once a week to listen this wonderfull solo over and over again. I love this song since 2017
2:25-2:30 kinda reminds me of some part in We Lost the Sea's "Departure Songs"
Hi! I just found your music out from the doja situation and just wanted to say that is so beautifully done, i love it.💙💙

I love it. Great work Plini. For whatever reason 0:43 - 1:30 reminds me of the solo and main riff in that 80's song; White Lion - Wait

I still think my favorite solo that exists is probably Wrinkle maze from Per nilsson off of David Maxim Micic's album.
need to see a playtrough plini
Best song of entire album, has everything of PLINI.
Masterpiece.
Kelele Head True Words
Crazy thing is, he wrote it years ago. A remaster more or less of his old project “Halcyon” song called pastures as well. Nice to hear it upgraded
fucking beautiful and amazing good job plini still cant believe I met you can't wait to see you guys in houston tx with animals as leaders and intervals!!!!! (: and troy Wright killing it on the drums!!!!

wonderful album!
New generation Return to Forever with some of these tunes.
When 03:04 breaks in and you're on mdma, nearly cried everytime hearing it 2 weeks after, so beautiful lol. That solo.
No matter how hard i looked i couldn't find a live version of this
Truly grateful for this masterpiece.
The best, most tasteful guitar solo I’ve ever heard to date.
wow that solo is superb definitely hear vai's influence here
I can definitely hear the Drake influences here! Amazing
if you listen carefully you can really hear some of those Lynard Skynard influences as well
Yeah and dont forget kanye, i hear west in there too
It's incredible how Holdsworth influence on Plini hasn't been a topic.

All real song writers have that song that eternally remain unfinished and eternally polished. A magnum opus without end.
Gosh I love plini
PLLLLEEASE do a playthrough of this! if anything just the solo cause holy balls it was good
4:10 goosebumps moment....
this one made me cry
purpledrank Same, almost every time I hear it
1:37-2:00 i love that part
I hear Eric Johnson and Guthrie Govan influences but Pliny you have a very unique style something incredibly hard to do! Very impressed and thank you!

because me likeyyy
Loving the progression from 3:04, I think it's in 17/16
Crazy thing is the main drum groove is in 4/4... (with a few 3/4s thrown in here and there)
I think its 4/4 + 5/4 or 9/4, like CAFO by animals as leaders :)
I remember this song from sevenstring forum :)
from 2011 to this day, it still blows my mind.
Any new stuff coming Gru?
4:42 is supernatural. Leaves the planet.
Plini Plini... U R the best, great song.
liking the Holdsworth vibe
Am I the only one who ears "trial of tears" in the beggining? Great musician this guy :)
sorta
breathtaking
je suis transcendée quand j'écoute plini!!!!!
Wow great song!
You must bring back some more Halcyon remakes....*cough* Noodle 3 *cough*
You are phenomenal. So good you make me want to quit some times lol. Beautiful work my friend

Do we have a live version of this?
