One of your best yet, a little history on the house would be great as I live in New England in a 225 year old house.

I never used to talk about this house as my buddy owned it and is very private. But its sold now so... was a rich man back in the day built it with political aspirations. Brought materials in on the railroad to build it. Family still owns farm ground in the area and there is a separate quarters for servants

Carry some wedges to place in the top cuts (and you don't have to hammer them in) You'll thank me later. Please wear some chaps on video. It's all good until it's not.

Instead of using wedges you could cut through the log leaving 2 inch from the top than cut down till through then come back up.. haven't pinched my saw since someone gave me that bit of info

If you could I’d love to know a little of the history of the house. It appears to be vacant. Any idea how long it’s been vacant? Big old houses intrigue me. I’m slowly working on a trailer load of standing dead elm which is great firewood but really splits hard.

There is a comment above this one where I talk about the house a little. Build by a rich man and was a nursing home at one point in the 60s or 70s. Has separate servants quarters. Used the railroad to bring in materials to build it originally

Good video. Where was your little limping saw ? Those are awesome for topping out trees like that without wearing yourself out. Anyway have a great day ! Happy easter.

Thanks man. Happy Easter. I didn't bring the little saw to be honest. But I could have used my 290. I had it along for backup

Ben, I want to apologize for what I wrote about you asking people to consider helping Joe with a new truck. Joe has given many hours of enjoyment to many viewers who could help him and not even miss the money. I am so sorry. You are a good and descent person.

If there is more walnut there, I know someone who would be interested in logging. I’m sure you know someone also.

I love working by myself. It’s challenging. But I really dig your machine. I’m leaning towards that over a tractor bucket or skid steer.
