Amid COVID-19, Austin mayor says ‘stay home’ in video recorded on vacation in Mexico | KVUE

Austin Mayor Steve Adler confirmed to the KVUE Defenders that in November, he hosted his daughter’s wedding and went on a vacation with a group of people to Mexico. Both happened while Austin was under Stage 3 guidelines, which advised against gatherings of more than 10 people. Here's a video he recorded Nov. 9 from Mexico, telling Austinites to stay home. The video was then posted to his Facebook page.
