i got the +2 silver embroidery gathering to go with the guild buff wasnt sure where to go from there lol like all the other loggia gears n stuff for the other slots etc
@@THETUDYS shai is a good life skill class for gathering as she has skills that increases the weight she can carry. So good when you do heavy gathering such as cutting trees to mining rocks.
@@THETUDYS keep the loggia first. Eventually once you level up gathering, you will have more chances to get rare items which will make you more money. From there you will be able to upgrade(purchase/craft) manos gear as manos is the new goal for lifeskillers. However take your time. Rushing in won't do good as you will spend more money buying. Instead slowly let the market die down and only cash in when things get cheaper. If there are items being introduced after manos, that's where manos price will drop. I personally feel the Loggia tools are better than all the ones you mentioned, they are repairable and they have very good stats! I got my DUO: Butcher Knife for a few millions and its well worth it if you want to go a bit hardcore into gathering. Same for gathering armor, LOGGIA all the way ;)

And you are right to say that Loggia will indeed help once they go to a later stage with enough money to buy/invest in those tools and if they really go into gathering as stable activity. Personally, I don't use loggia cause the frequency of myself gathering is low plus the restriction of energy further caps that frequency, which is why i never invest in loggia (but thats just my playing schedule) For now, this guide focuses on tools which new players with low funds can still access to. And I believe that once they get a feel for it and that they decided to go further and deeper into it, your sharing of loggia tools will be very beneficial. Coming back December 2019 i was greeted with a massive amount of rewards, all sort of silver rewards so i was lucky to start my experience with 700M silver and bunch of value packs and goodies. Hi Elf-ish, Thank you for clicking on the video and giving me an opportunity to share the info. For me, my journey to the rod was I managed to get a +6 which was very cheap, and I continue to save up silver to get a +10. After that, i gave my +6 to my main character, who fish occasionally when out in the seas with guild members doing sea monster hunting. While the +10 goes to my fishing alt which is stationed at a location of choice depending where is good at the moment. Just to give you a heads up, eventually, you will want to save up and invest in: 1. Silver Embroidered Fisher +2 (cause guild+3 buff add on to total of +5 Max) 2. Balenos Fishing Rod +10 (it might not be in stock, just do a P.O "Pre-Order" on the market place), so when someone sells it, you'll be able to obtain it automatically. 3. After that, you might want to consider (Optional) to brand the Rod, when you brand a rod, the durability decrease from usage is further discounted (Means the wear and tear of the rod from usage is now slower and in return, you can fish longer). (Only do this if you afk a lot or even through out the night) 4. As mentioned a Polar Bear or Penguin (either one, not both) is optional. I have a question, I got a new pickaxe and Axe and I enhanced them and I noticed they have a +Pickaxe/mining mastery boost. What does that do, does it increase the resources I get?
Hello JoseBoss, To make it more straight forward to give you a better understanding but its going to be long, so bear with me a little as I break it into 2 stages which is BEFORE 2019 and AFTER 2019. BEFORE 2019: Originally Black Desert Online only had Life Skill Levels, e.g beginners, apprentice and so on all the way to master & guru. These level depending on life skill type, have different benefits. You can check the level up benefits by pressing ( P ) for the "My Information Window" On the right side, click the LIFE SKILL tool icon, so you reveal a list of life skills starting from Gathering, Fishing, Hunting and so on. Mouse over each item, e.g if you mouse over ( Gathering ) cause its part of your pickaxe mining, you will see a description saying, as you level this Life Skill "LEVEL", you will increase the chance of NOT using Energy when gathering. (So this is the benefit of LIFE SKILL EXP or LIFE SKILL LEVEL). Back then, we only had Normal Tools, Lucky Tools, (Then slowly the introduction of Loggia Tools) AFTER 2019 Late Quarter: A new button was added in that same window I mentioned above, its at the bottom of the window called "LEARN MORE" When you click LEARN MORE button, a new page appears. (This provides you with MASTERY EXP or so called MASTERY LIFE SKILL LEVEL). So both are different. This MASTERY level has additional attributes, e.g if you MOUSE OVER "MINING" under GATHERING section, (be sure to hover over mininig), you will see it saying: "Gathering Item Drop Rate & Quantity of Normal, Special, Rare resources will increase" So as you can see, NORMAL life skill has the ability to let you NOT use energy while gathering, means you can gather more since at times you don't use energy. While the MASTERY level allows you to gather item drop rate/quantity increase. At this point, MANOS tools were introduced, while the earlier mentioned tools level life skill exp mostly, MANOS tools focus on leveling MASTERY exp. Loggia which is the tools (Just before *Current* end game Manos tools also does have the ability to train MASTERY level). I hope the above gives you an overview and understanding of the life skill and mastery setup in this game. I know its abit long, but i felt its good for players to get a full picture, so they are well informed and will be able to appreciate more of the game's development. It might be "confusing" at times, but I guess thats where I am trying to help. Hi SoftFly , you don’t have to do that, it really depends on location and purpose. Shai is good due to its extra weight skill as it levels up. For gathering it’s good. For fishing wise, you will need more inventory than weight. So fishing can be another character. For players doing bartering more than combat they might use their bartering character to do fishing since it returns to the fishing town of their choice. For me I prefer to let my main explore the world and use another separate character for fishing so i can just switch without any hassle. I can't exactly remember what are the stats of the shining tools, but what i can do is give you an outline below and a suggestion. Generally, at a start, normal tools will give you normal life skill LEVEL exp. This life skill LEVEL, is seen when you press P for the profile page, under the life skill tab. From there, you can mouse over the individual life skill e.g gathering, to see the pop up description say "level this up for possibility of skipping the usage of energy during gathering". Here we are talking about Life skill LEVEL exp. Next, click the bottom (LEARN MORE) button. This brings you to the same life skill list, but in another page. This page when you mouse over life skill e.g gathering again, you'll see additional information stating that learning this MASTERY LEVEL allows you "a higher chance to get rare items", so this is what we call MASTERY LEVEL. In each item, e.g tools or clothing, read through the description. If it says +3% life skill or life exp. It means the first page Life Skill LEVEL. But if it says +3% mastery or life mastery exp, it means it gains MASTERY LEVEL exp. I hope this explanation can help you relate to the information presented in the game. I know its a lot of info to digest in this game, but its this level of depth that also makes it a great game. haha hi there Chris Kozma, thanks watching the video. Well, I cannot say I am a hard core gatherer since I only it like once every week or other day. For me, Manos is way to expensive at the moment and I honestly do not see myself using it often enough to gain me profit. magic tools are sufficient for my current involvement in gathering as well. And Manos isn't new player friendly cause its sort of an "end game" tool at the moment. for hard core gatherers, they will aim for it. so really depends on your play level in terms of that particular life skill haha. And oh yes, you just got your next subscriber at your channel, (yes its me LOL)

Hello, for all lifeskill (fishing etccc.) should i use shai too ?
Hi SoftFly , you don’t have to do that, it really depends on location and purpose. Shai is good due to its extra weight skill as it levels up. For gathering it’s good. For fishing wise, you will need more inventory than weight. So fishing can be another character. For players doing bartering more than combat they might use their bartering character to do fishing since it returns to the fishing town of their choice. For me I prefer to let my main explore the world and use another separate character for fishing so i can just switch without any hassle. Hey Hello, I have a question regarding the Shining Tools.. do they get affected by mastery?
hello Arisato, thank you for taking the time to watch the video and to leave a comment. I can't exactly remember what are the stats of the shining tools, but what i can do is give you an outline below and a suggestion.
Generally, at a start, normal tools will give you normal life skill LEVEL exp. This life skill LEVEL, is seen when you press P for the profile page, under the life skill tab. From there, you can mouse over the individual life skill e.g gathering, to see the pop up description say "level this up for possibility of skipping the usage of energy during gathering". Here we are talking about Life skill LEVEL exp.
Next, click the bottom (LEARN MORE) button.
This brings you to the same life skill list, but in another page. This page when you mouse over life skill e.g gathering again, you'll see additional information stating that learning this MASTERY LEVEL allows you "a higher chance to get rare items", so this is what we call MASTERY LEVEL.
In each item, e.g tools or clothing, read through the description. If it says +3% life skill or life exp. It means the first page Life Skill LEVEL.
But if it says +3% mastery or life mastery exp, it means it gains MASTERY LEVEL exp.
I hope this explanation can help you relate to the information presented in the game. I know its a lot of info to digest in this game, but its this level of depth that also makes it a great game. haha hi there Chris Kozma, thanks watching the video. Well, I cannot say I am a hard core gatherer since I only it like once every week or other day. For me, Manos is way to expensive at the moment and I honestly do not see myself using it often enough to gain me profit. magic tools are sufficient for my current involvement in gathering as well. And Manos isn't new player friendly cause its sort of an "end game" tool at the moment. for hard core gatherers, they will aim for it. so really depends on your play level in terms of that particular life skill haha. And oh yes, you just got your next subscriber at your channel, (yes its me LOL)
