After 2 ish weeks training my husky (11months old) he finaly doesn’t pull on leash after implementing training from your videos, he is a lot better on heel also. Thank you so much for your content, it’s easy understandable 🙌🏻

I watched a little older video a month ago, same lesson from Fenrir. Got a proper lead, and went to work, within half-hour my 3 year old 100lb black lab was walking almost perfectly. Now the whole family can walk him and hes a perfect gentleman, and his overall obedience has improved greatly. Hes always been an overall good boy. But now hes excellent and I have been following allot of Fenrirs vids and its been a new hobby to get my dog trained up. I can't recommend these guys enough to people.

Every time I say “good boy”, my dog seems to think that means “go faster and pull as hard as you can.”

Good boy heel I would use in a neutral voice. Your praising plus still asking too heel else dog thinks it's it can pull or get distracted now. Add break command when allowed sniff or play.

Hi Will, I have a question - do you have any advice (or maybe at some point could you do a video on, or do you have one I haven't seen) for walking a dog who doesn't have good heel walking trained when you're in a wheelchair? I have a lot of trouble moving around on my feet even for a minute or two, and so my dog gets a lot of time outside to run around in the yard but not a lot of time with me to explore the neighborhood (which used to be his favorite before my mobility decreased). Once I get my chair and I'm more mobile I'd love to start taking him out again but I'm worried about getting him better behaved from in my chair, because it could be bad if he took off and I became an unwilling charioteer. XD He's a pretty big cane corso/lab mix, and he's so much happier when he gets more exercise than I've been able to give him.

Just a quick question, what do you do when your dog keeps offering you heeling when on a free walk? I tell them to go free and run around, then they do that for a couple seconds, then come back. Praising just seems to bring them closer to heeling😅 Both are very used to run free on command, before heeling training.

All your videos are great but every video from every trainer i watch leaves out the actual coaching with the owner (specifically with the dogs male owner) and that’s mainly what i need and i think videos on that would really help a lot of pet owners.

Why are all dog harnesses slip on? We are so frustrated seeing this, please put clips on the neck portion. I know literally hundreds of owners who hate this style, dread taking it on and off and are forced to have an uncomfortable experience with their dog due to this. The straps are usually very hard to adjust, specifically when taking the harness off.
I was happy to see you had your own line of products but was disappointed with the design. I was wondering if you could add some insight to your design choices? Mainly the reason for no neck clips and also the placement of the straps/adjusters on the mid section will absolutely cause chaffing? Genuinely curious, not trying to be a "know it all" or an "a$$hole".
My girlfriend and I are currently researching and looking into creating our own line of products as after hundreds of hours of researching we cannot find a harness that meets our expectations.
    A harness should be:
    1. Easy on and off ( Keep in mind some dogs hate things going over their head, no matter how consistent the training ) Hence the clips for the neck, its never sliding "over" the dogs head.
    2. Comfortable ie ( no unpadded straps, protection from chaffing)
    3. Ventilated/breathable
    4. Fully adjustable
    5. Front and back d ring
    6. Reflective stitching
    7. Stylish/multiple colours
Trying to find one that meets all of these is nearly impossible.

If he pulls his head out of his collar, I would recommend getting a martingale collar. As for sitting down and not getting up, maybe teaching him leash pressure would be good. Nate Schoemer is a trainer who has some good videos on how to teach that. I'm not a trainer, but getting a martingale collar and teaching my dog leash pressure has been really helpful. Hope this helps 😊

@@user-ll2iq9su3f Ok, I hope that the slip lead continues to help.
