Halfway through your free program, already sold on it! Getting a female German shepherd pup at the end of the month and I am very motivated to get her dialed in. Thanks a lot for everything you do!

Hello Garret, I live in Spain and here the e-collar is prohibited, does that mean that i can't let my dog go off leash or that your course on off leash training won't be useful to me? Also the prong collar is prohibited, is there an alternative? Thanks in advance I really appreciate your work it's amazing how much useful info you put out

I’ve a 9 week old pit and I’m watching so many videos, the first bit of this video seems to be physical commands, and I’m confused as some other videos I’ve watched saying verbal command first the. Physical ? What ones right lol!?
Hello! I love your videos. I just adopted my pitty. I'm looking through a lot of training videos and struggling to find videos for dogs that are not motivated by food. So my rescue he doesn't really care about treats. And any type of attention or touch for him is either play or positive. I've been working on developing the right tone with him. But I'm curious if you have any advice on positive reinforcement tactics for him? Toys as well he enjoys obviously. But he is not interested in them when there is a human there. I think it's because he was a rescue and didn't have a lot of attention before being adopted. But I just can't find any resources on how to help dogs that don't get motivated by food or treats with training. He only gets excited or happy with me. Not even other people.
Our biggest struggle is our puppy when trying to teach via food lure will now jump at our hands and nip or at our pockets our pouches where the treats are. Is there a video that’s helps teach how to train away this behavior?
I've one of their shorts where they talk about it. In that video he says to put a collar and leash on the dog and step on the leash. This way if the dog tries to jump it'll fell awful and the dog will learn not to do it.

Super ❤
What was the level of the e-collar when Rudy just started?
I have a GSD puppy 4 months old long hair what setting is the starting point and what is the max level for this age?
Every dog is different. Unleashed on DIYK9.com covers how to find the working level but we don't recommend moving to ecollar until after your dog has mastered basic obedience first.
What treats do u use because too many would give the dog diarrhea or do you just use dog food as “treats”?
Typically we train at meal time so we usually use kibble.
Do you only use the static/shock feature of an e-collar or are there times you would use a beep or vibration feature?
We typically use the stim, a lot of dogs actually find the vibration to be more aversive than actual stim.
So this may not get read, but I watch your reels mostly and was wondering. I have a 6 Yr old Rhodesian Ridgeback. Thankyou, I’m picking up a female cane corso tomorrow
What if you want the e collar for multiple commands like here or heel? Can it be used for more than one command?
Definitely! We teach proper ecollar use in Unleashed on DIYK9.com, but your dog needs to be proficient in basic obedience first.
Will these methods work on an approx. 19mo old shelter rescue? Or are there different techniques that might work better on an older dog?
Our methods work on all breeds, all ages :)
