Sounds amazing🙂 In Denmark we are at the point, where Springbank 10, Hazelburn 10 and Longrow peated are the only new Springbank releases you can buy outside of raffles😯
Great review mate. Think you are the first to make one on it. I missed out on it, but was lucky enough to get the SB18 + SB15 from the recent outturn. Looking forward to that society longrow coming up soon!
Haven't had this one.... And with your review I doubt I will, cause there will be a run on the bottles left 😄 But no worries, there is / I have enough whisky to enjoy. Thanks for yet another enjoyable review, Alan. Slàinte mhath
Hi Alan, great review 👍 to me it seems Springbank is on the heavy sherry wave this year with the Springbank 15 (100% sherry), Hazelburn 15 (100% sherry) and now with this brand new Longrow 18 release (also 100% sherry). Thanks for sharing your impressions. Since today this bottle is on my wish list 😃 Cheers
Mate, you had me wanting to reach into the screen and grab that bottle!! And, considering today's prices, it's decent value too. Great review Alan - cheers.
I know you’re not really a peathead but do you have any plans of doing a review on the new Ardbeg 19 #4? Just ordered mine and would love to hear your thoughts on that one.
Unfortunately my provincial (access to 2 provinces) Ontario LCBO & Quebec SAQ do not carry any releases from Springbank. I have been seriously into Scotch whisky for about a year and in my area there are only a few new releases each week. Limited supplies and shelves are not well stocked (for example no Johnny Walker Green available for purchase in person or online in both Quebec and Ontario for at least 2 months !)
I love the dirty mechanics overalls and you've hot to love those booze soaked raisens... But in the same glass... Awesome stuff... Cheers for dropping in as usual fella.. Cheers
Sorry for the late reply my friend ive been away on holiday, cant remember which one this is but the 2 bottles i have open are 06 sept 2021 and 07 july 2022 think the video id the latter one....both awesome...
Hi Alan, if you got this at a £110 pounds you done well, this is probably already jumping up in price big time, does sound a belter though, good review Alan, Doon The Hatch ( responsibly of course )😀👍.
