Terrific review! Thanks so much! I love this expression! I have a couple of bottles and I paid about $300.00 each, 2022 and 2023. Delicious ash, brine, creosote, honey, hay, heather, leather, smoke, orange peel like the sweet kind with sugar - candies at Christmas - vanilla. Fabulous!! This is such a great video! Thanks!
Another great and thorough review! Sounds like you have a good batch…. Some of the older releases were sometimes known to be a bit sulphured…. Enjoyable to some. Cheers 🥃
I am admittedly not sensitive to sulphur notes at all. I rarely ever get that at all, so I wouldn't be a great judge of that if someone were to be. I guess I am lucky!
Great 18 year series. The 2022 LR18 is awesome and gets better with time. I have a bottle open for 6 months. Getting dangerously low. Probably more viscous than the SB18.
The only Longrow I’d tried prior to visiting Campbeltown was the readily available NAS. I sampled a handful of Longrows (including a 28 year on the Springbank Tour) during my visit & am now hooked, for better or worse. I doubt I’ll ever be willing to pay US retail on that 18 though. I say this halfheartedly as I’ve recently paid over $200 for a Longrow Red 15 Pinot Noir at a local shop. Really good, & it’s barely past the shoulder. I hope your 18 opens up over time. There’s good reason it’s coveted. Cheers.

A very informative review. Good job. Took my bottle a while to open up and it’s now much more balanced.
Thanks for watching!
Age stated longrows are an always buy! Incredible stuff.

Couldn't agree more!

Once I tasted the 15 year Pinot Noir Red, I actually went and got a second bottle. It is one of my favorite Reds! Cheers!
