This is it, I Am bringing groceries and moving in!..... First I should say, you created a great influence for me to purchase an instant pot, second, you made me hungry!. I love food. You guys should consider including food promotions of name brands and instant pots and you should collaborate with the brands because honestly, you influenced me into buying one. I love this video, I subscribed and bookmarked it ... thank you so much I Am def trying these when I get my pot. Great video, well explained and great easy instructions!.
Hey, you might want to use one of those grip pads under your light-weight cutting board. It stops them from moving. Also you'd be surprised how much easier it is to prep on a large cutting board. I have two big wood ones and also colored-coded flat plastic ones for when we need extras. (color coded for meat, chicken, veggies - red, yellow, green for those who are concerned with cross contamination)
Rick, you seriously need to add a Nuwave oven to the mix. Compact, energy efficient, and cooks meat (or anything else that can be oven cooked) in half the time a standard oven would take. I cooked a pork loin like you used in the video in about 40 min.
I agree! I use my Nuwave almost daily. I made my thanksgiving turkey in it and it was the best turkey ever. The kicker is the turkey was still frozen and it cooked perfectly! No thawing needed. I often make pork ribs in the pressure cooker then brown and crisp them up in the Nuwave. And it makes the perfect slice of bacon. Boiled eggs in the pressure cooker and bacon in the Nuwave!
Rick and Cathy, I have a hard enough time doing a 2 dish meal. My hats off to you two for doing 5 courses. It all looked really good. BTW, I just received my I-Pot 6 quart pressure cooker ;-)
We made four 5 gallon crocks of kraut and you can't imagine how many heads of cabbage it took to fill them. We had to shred every one of them using a thing called a mandolin.
Hi, I'm glad you found my channel and subscribed! Oh you were making sauerkraut? That must have been a strong smelling job. I do like it now. :) Thanks!
Been watching your videos for awhile and every time it makes me sooo hungry. Everything looks so delicious. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to your next adventure.
Have you thought about using all you pressure cooker for Superbowl Sunday? Or 7 deserts? I love your combo videos! Always a good time sharing your cooking !! Thank you!
Rick, My Instant Pot goes to 120 minutes. I noticed that because I steam vegetables at 0 minutes. I was decreasing the minutes and went past the 0 and it went to 120 minutes! I can't imagine ever pressure cooking on high for that long, but it's good to know that it can do that.
+Blake Smith The Instant Pot or the Aicok. The Aicok has non stick. The Instant Pot is hard to clean. Both good quality though. Thanks for watching! :)
Rick I was on Google looking up the meaning of BABYLON Reggae for my 11 yr old grandson. Rick you popped up on the adds 👏👏👏👏👏 Keep the banter going 😊 A big hello to Cathy. ❤ I did mention to Rick to give you more of a mention as you were his side kick ❤💙❤💙❤
Hi Rick, Just spent the better part of the afternoon watching some of your videos. I really enjoy watching you cook. I have a question about pressure cookers. In this video you use 5 pressure cookers, and I have seen you use even more in another video. The question is this: I own a Cuisinart pressure cooker. Since you have this item in your collection, I'm sure you are aware that the only things you can control from the panel are the pressure and the time. (You have browning, simmering, and sauteing, as well). Other cookers have numerous settings on them: rice, meat, vegetables, etc. When I have seen these cookers used in videos, the chef chooses whatever setting and the cooker displays a time, and indicates high or low pressure. Usually however, the cook varies the time to another time that he feels is more appropriate, and starts the cooking cycle. Do these settings change anything besides the pressure and the time? If I have a specific item that I want to cook in my Cuisinart, and I simply look up how long it takes, and set the pressure either high or low, is there any difference between that, and having numerous buttons on the panel that have the various labels on them?
+Robert Brown Hi, Thanks for watching so much! :) You're right about the Cuisinart. We just figure out the time and pressure and that's all we need. I guess all the fancy buttons and modes are just that, fancy. But the new ones are cool with all that stuff. Thanks Again! Have a great weekend.
so out of all the pressure cookers you have which brand do you like the most??? I want to get one and am doing "research" - thank you and I love your videos - I don't see me getting 5 pressure cookers - but you are fun to watch!
Now that you have used all these pressure cookers, do you have a favorite ? Glad you didn't blow any fuses this time Kathy, where did you find that pressure cooker peach recipe?
+Tigerlily I was going for the Instant Pot. I search on-line the best Pressure cooker and the Instant Pot 7 in 1came in came in first and the Cuisinart CPC second. So I'm in between those two...
Great video even if we have only one pressure Cooker (Instant Pot) which we just received. All items we will try. You made watching the video fun because you are normal people who must have fun in the kitchen.
Hi I just saw you I love your video I'm going to buy a culinary pressure cooker and try some chicken gizzards hope they turn out good . Thanks for your inspiration !☺
Wondering if you could give some direction on which size IP to buy. We are empty nesters, so the bulk of our cooking is for two, but we do have our family and friends over occasionally. My fear in buying a larger IP is that when cooking for two, the IP would struggle to pressurize due to the smaller amount in such a large pot. Any thoughts?
+91swags Hi, All sizes seem to take the same time to come up to pressure. I would recommend the 8 qt GoWise. amzn.to/2bMd7mx I think it's perfect. Happy Cooking!
That's supposed to be "cooked" not cpoked. Anyway, this video is great and gave me a lot of ideas of different things to cook in my PC's. I have a bunch, 2, 3, 4, 6, & 8 quart (litre) cookers, Precision, T-Fal, Fagor, Ultrex, and Instant Pot. Thanks to you and your Missus, y'all did a great job on this video and I must say y'all sure did seem to enjoy the cooking y'all did in all 5 of those PC's. I'm thinking about getting one of those Cooks Essentials 4qt ones from QVC, they have one listed as 'as is' and is a basic model without all the fancy beef, chicken, etc. buttons but does have brown, high and low pressure, and slow cook, for a good price, so I think I'll take the plunge and get one to accompany my other PC's as you have done with this video showing your 'family' of electric PC's!!! Again, Thanks and God Bless Y'all!!!
You really are the pressure cookin guru! Are you gonna give your little babies names? What are ya gonna call the Aicok? Let me guess. Petunia? Everything looks good. Do you have a Twitter account? I didn't see it listed. I got 2 words for ya, Fork Cam. Good job Rick.
Awesome! Thanks for doing this video. I will be getting my Elite Bistro 8 qt delivered any day now. Excited to get started using it. I am sure with my big family, I will buy more. Also one for my daughter. Which one of yours can you can in? Is there any requirements on the glass containers you used? Its a fabulous idea.Subscribing to your channel.
Hi, You're gonna have fun with it! You can can in any of them as long as your jars fit. I believe any glass containers are OK. I've never had a problem using any. Thank you very much! Enjoy!
How long is the max timer on the Aicok's timer vs the Instant Pot LUX 8 quart pressure cooker? You cooked a pork roast that took 99 minutes in the Elite and you had to add time. I don't wan to baby sit my machine. I want to push the time in and forget it. Also with 5-7 pound roasts do they usually take 99 minutes?
+Blake Smith It seems like the Aicok timer goes up to 60 minutes. The Instant Pot goes up to 240 minutes. A roast that big would take 90 minutes, unless it was cut up into smaller pieces, then you could go 60 minutes.
+Rick Mammana Leftovers are good. I pack them up for the FIL and the husband for lunch. Here is my thinking. Small apt/limited space. Get rid of the ye old crock pot. Replace with two small instata pots . We are always being creative with our storage.
+Virginia Corley Out of these 5 i liked the Instant Pot. But since this video I got a GoWise USA 14 Qt. Pressure Cooker. amzn.to/2f69yYW and now that is my favorite. Thanks
hey rick I finally got mt pressure cooker early I cant wait tomorrow gonna try goolash want to ask you if you should use oil in everytime you cook tomorrow im gonna try porridge im so happy my kitchen toy lol :) have a good day :)
Holey Moley! The electric company just loves you! I don't have enough outlets and couldn't possible store all of the PCs.....so please adopt me!?! Mommy and Daddy my first PC request is CHEESECAKE!

REGARDING THE ELITE...is yours a nonstick insert pan or a stainless pan? the new ones on Amazon all say "nonstick"...if so, what kind of nonstick is it? Also, the price of the blue s way higher and the black is lower down and the red is the lowest of all...wierd...I think YOUR VIDEOS have driven the price upon the "big blue)! Great job!
+jdhiv4 Thanks! Good for big blue huh. The Elite that i have is non stick. I'm not sure what coating they have. I do know that my newest GoWise 14 quart has a ceramic coated pot. amzn.to/2f69yYW this is my favorite one lately. Thanks Again! :)

+one day at a time They are all equal except the Elite, that one is the lesser quality of them all.

+jonnyboat2 Hi, I should name them huh. Petunia! Yes I am on twitter using my name. Thanks again.
I'm also curious how this effects your electricity usage.
+auntsushiful It's not bad at all as they use 70% less electricity or more as a regular electric stove.
I taking the plung, instant pot for me thanks
+casino NYU Nice! You'll like it. :)
Awesome! Thanks for doing this video. I will be getting my Elite Bistro 8 qt delivered any day now. Excited to get started using it. I am sure with my big family, I will buy more. Also one for my daughter. Which one of yours can you can in?

Eh, Rick on any given day its just the two of us. Would you recomend smaller pots ?
+Pam Todd Well it's always good to have a regular size like a 6 or 8 quart. Sometimes you might make more and have some good leftovers. :)
+Rick Mammana Leftovers are good. I pack them up for the FIL and the husband for lunch. Here is my thinking. Small apt/limited space. Get rid of the ye old crock pot. Replace with two small instata pots . We are always being creative with our storage.
Awesome!
Thanks! Delicious Too!
