That’s one of the best step by step guides I’ve seen anyone make. The attention to detail with the auto air valve shows how thoroughly you do your job. We’ll done
Living in Cornwall it’s was becoming difficult to find someone to fix my boiler. Following this video enabled me to do the job myself. Fantastic video, Thank you so much.
Waseem I must tell you this: THANK YOU, THANK YOU THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!! This video has been the difference between a frutrating dripping Vaillant boiler, and a successful fixing operation! I have a Vaillant EcoBlock 236 boiler and, even if it is not the same model in your video, your instructions are so precise that I was able to fix it with the same smooth mood you have in your video! Thank you again for this! I've also clean the AAV as you wisely suggest! About the AAV I would add the following small advice: don't worry if the small spring get off the pin while washing - just keep on cleaning carefully, then reassemble the two pieces by twisting the spring onto the thread on the pin. I got scared when they separated while washing, I didn't expected that, and I was afraid not to have spare parts around, being Sunday! Well, at the end everything seems running correctly! Great video and great feeling! Greetings and Ciao! from Italy
Thank you so much! Your video was incredibly detailed and made the process of changing the diverter valve on my Vaillant Ecotec Plus 837 so easy to follow. I couldn't have done it without your step-by-step guidance. Truly appreciate your effort and the clear explanations!
Mate you saved me a few hundred quid! I did get a bit wet by not putting the pipe in far enough but this was an amazingly detailed and helpful video. Thanks mate
Absolutely awesome! Really excellent well described guide that didn't rush through the job. Without this video I'm not sure I would have been brave enough to tackle it. You've saved me a fortune, thank you!! 👍
Hi Wasim My name is Suri. I m from London. I m 54 years old studying to be a Gas Safety Engineer. I m in the process of making job portpolio. I saw your video on changing valliant diverter valve. I m very much pleased the way u explained in very simplistic way. I was a great help. May Allah bless u and ur family all the time. Regards
I found your videos very helpful. I’m done now with my practicals waiting for boiler installations. Nice one brother. Masha Allah you are good in your job. Wish you more success.
This Video saved me a FORTUNE!! I have exactly the same boiler (even the same toolkit!) and this video was spot on!! - I didn't bother servicing that last part, as I was too excited to see if it fixed my issue, but I plan to go back and do that tomorrow. Thankyou so much!
Very informative video mate I’ve got my first diverter valve on a Vaillant to change tomorrow and I feel a lot more confident about it thanks to you. One thing I would say is it might be worth stating that you must be gas safe registered to take the case off a gas boiler as there are a few guys in the comments who clearly aren’t and have carried this job out.

Fantastic step by step guide - thank you for doing it and uploading, as this enabled me to change the diverter valve on my valiant boiler and solved the problem where the radiators kept coming in when the hot water was not running. Awesome work..!!
just followed your instruction , everything worked great .good tip about the auto air valve it needed cleaning .I would recomend putting the plug in the sink when cleaning small items as they have a bad habit of going down the trap . your instruction was clear and to the point no time wasted on waffle also good video of everything relevant to the job . 5 stars all the way
Fantastic. Really appreciate people like you, helping others with your knowledge and experience. I do the same, only I do it with apprentices, so I can pass my knowledge onto them, that means they will become competent skilled workers, who can then complete the circle and, help others.
Thanks very much i really appreciate the time and effort you have put in on this video your welcome to call round for a tea and chocolate biscuits thanks much appreciated 😊👌👍
I hope you see this, my elderly relative was quoted over £275 for this job. I saw this and did it for her it cost me £80. I am not a plumber in any way or shape or form. Thank you sooooo much for this you have helped out more than you could know. Thank you again.
Pity you don’t live in Sheffield I’d give you a job , good video mate like the way you clean auto air vent when boilers drained. I always clean pressure sensor as well , top man keep up the good work. Good to see top engineers in the industry 👍👍

This is brilliant thank you, a question, my hot water display goes above the recommended temperature 71c but goes up to 77 even hotter when drawing dhw, suggestion please
I have been watching your videos, very well explained, specially for beginners like me is very useful, you are basically filling the gap I think, there are lots of similar videos on TH-cam but you have tried to clarify it targeting beginners, thank you very much, from your videos I am 100% sure that your first priority is to help new guys, thank you very much taking time to do this. I got some request for you for future videos. 1. When you install new boiler can closely and in detail explain about flue installation referring to the Manufacturer Instructions, l know you have done briefly before, but please expand it bit more. 2. Can you also explain what short of screws you use for different types of walls, like for plaster board, brick wall etc, bit of explanation. 3. Can you please do video now and then answering people's questions, if you do this please make a short video so that we can send questions on the comment section. Thank you very much.

I struggled to get the valve reconnected to the pump with the new O-ring, even with it lubricated with soap and water. How did you do it so effortlessly? Never mind, I got there in the end. Cheers!
Hey, great looking video, my Vaillant 838 pressure has been going up about a bar a day now for a week, was beginning to think about what to do with it... being a slightly less qualified plumber - eg, not gas registered - I generally stayed away from opening a boiler up, but seeing this video, I think I owe it to myself.... and wife for Xmas pressies!! to try repressurising the vessel first, looks pretty straight forward, and not touching any gas components.
