Also need to be VERY Careful replacing the primaries to the heat ex manifold. On older or abused boilers the manifolds can be very brittle. P. S. The copper slip is suppose to go between the burner plate and heat exchanger as they expand and contract at different temperatures due to them been dissimilar metals!
My ecotech pro is making a loud humming noise mainly on dhw than heating. Worse on warm up than when it’s warmed up. Could this suggest a faulty diverter valve? I have noticed it heats the first rad after prolonged use of the hot water but has been doing that a while without the humming noise. Any suggestions would be appreciated ❤

You can fit a plastic or brass diverter valve to any mk1 or mk2 ecotec in any order.
